Maps updated. Changelog:
- More compact color-key (cubic instead of planar).
- New glow technique on Symphonic style (average of 60kb file savings) making it more usable and accessible for low-connection users. Also makes islands more visible.
- America, France, and Finland recolored to flag colors (American and French colors not in key).

Being between 3700 and 700m, or about 0.011cm to 0.002cm scaled (between a half and a tenth of a pixel), no, not really. Weren't you the guy that was . .. .. .. .. .ing that people could figure out real world geography from other references about a week ago anyway?

Those canals probably wouldn't be all that great to include on a blank map.

In the same way, would Lake Volta be considered major enough to be on the modern map? If I were told what I would need to get (a lake is different from a river, so I'm not exactly sure what coordinates you would need), I would be willing to get them.

Lakes aren't easy to draw. In fact, it's pretty much impossible. Mostly because you would have to go finding all the peripheral coordinates, and the smallest that can be drawn is a 3px L, not a 1px dot, so sorting that out isn't just a walk in the park. Plus it's artificial, only been around 43 years, and affects all of Ghana. Your obsession with that nation not withstanding, I don't see what's so important about it.

There's no need for artificial lakes (there's another, more obvious candidate in Africa, btw) or canals, or even straits. Anyone who couldn't figure things like the Bosporus for himself should suffer for his extraordinary ignorance; not really my usual position, but you have to draw a line somewhere.

I was thinking of lakes in africa for a water wars type thing, but especially given the shape (though not limited to that), it is VERY impractical, and serves no real purpose on the map. we know it is there, end of story.
and yeah, if you don't know about the bosporus....
