I don´t think you understand. You joined a military alliance, METO, that is now fighting Germany, Russia and Finland. You cannot withdraw from this war anymore. It is a war that you will have to fight. Go stand infront of your people and say that you will give up land and freedom for peace when they know that METO could be coming to your aid and win the war. Instead of giving up something you will gain something.

If you do not continue the war then METO will, even if it is on Scandinavian soil.

In the past years the war against the Triple Alliance has grown. The war started with many triumphs but during this year there has been tragedy. 5 naval divisions were sunk by the barbaric British and the British have invaded our neighbor, Egypt and destroyed the Suez Canal that our ancestors had worked so hard on. We can not allow these barbaric actions to continue. In order to protect ourselves from the Triple Alliance aggression, I am starting a draft. All men, ages 18 to 25 will be required to enlist in the army. They will join the Jihad against the barbaric Triple Alliance and defeat them. Since “Operation Jihad” has been completed, a new program will begin to develop a weapon that will change warfare. Our Islamic Brothers in the Islamic League, if they choose to help us in this project, will reap the benefits of this new weapon. May Allah be will you.

a_dead_rat and tossi, there are three more factors - popular support in combat territory (German and Romanian people are mostly pro-Russian/German, but Lithuanian and Polish people are pro-Hungarian), economy (Italy is in depression) and military efficiency (Italian army ISN'T a good army due to primitive armament, poor morale, organization and training). Also remember that Japan and India cannot send troops to Europe, so the fight in Europe is, more or less, unfavorable to METO.

Treaty of Copenhagen

1. Skandinavia will send 2 economy levels, 5 task forces and 5 air wings to Finnland
2. Skandinavia may never build more then 5 task forces.
3. Skandinavia will send 2 economy levels to Germany
4. Finnland will keep all lands taken by Skandinavia
5. Germany will give back Jutland to Skandinavia
6. Russia will give back Copenhagen
7. Russia will keep the other Baltic Island until the end of the war. Then their status will be clarified (They will most likely be Skandinavian again)
8. All nations will sign a NAP for atleast 10 years.
