Also no, the persians were as good allies in war even as they were difficult friends in the peace discussions. We declare our neutrality in this conflict as well, though that position is open to change depending on the actions of the combatents.

That said:
- There is a traitor in a conspiracy's midst.
- That traitor, however, doesn't seem to know as much as he or the one he has teamed up with thinks; perhaps he was badly disinformed, or maybe he just got unreliable 2nd-source information.
- Iron-plated ships aren't all that efficient at the time, having only recently been designed...
