We are saddened by the breakout of new wars. We had hoped for a time of peace and prosperity in Europe. We worked well with the Krakowians in our recent conflict with Sweden, but now they are at war with one of our allies.
While we yearn for peace we are an honourable nation and under our terms laid out in our treaties with France and Russia we hereby formally declare war upon Spain and the Union of Krakow.
We regret taking this step, but are honorbound through our alliances. It is our hope that peace can be declared soon and offer the hospitality of Copenhagen for negotiations.
All ships under Spanish or Krakowian flag in Danish waters are now the property of the Danish state. Furthermore, no vessels will be allowed access through Danish territorial waters if they are bound for the Union of Krakow.
