General Bodame now sat on his horse staring out into the sun. He sat staring with a a pipe in his mouth.
He slowly took it out and began blowing smoke rings. The beating of the drums sounded below. The call of war all around. Endless fighting had been here. Now Abyssania had been driven back. But now the General was ready to make up for his losses.
He looked out into the blood shot sun. His second in command sat beside him.
"You know what this means to me privet. We are in the midst of a World War. Not like that fake one, no. That was merely incompentent leadership ending in wide massacres. Now we are here.
We are fighting on the front. We are making history. We will not fail you know this. We have been fighting for years, and now it al pays off." He chuckled to himself.
We were once fighting a one on one battle now thousands of soldiers are being killed each day. Good men. Men who should be caring for their family.
It sometimes saddens me. But I know what we must do. We can't let our nation fail. It is duty, privet. Stand by your leader. Patriotism is the key to victory.
I will tell you. This war will forever be remembered. We march this day privet we march this day because we can.

General Bodame now stood in front of an encore of people. The King was off in the far south rallying the people. Here the General was rallying Christians as well.
Men now you all stand here today. Some of you farmers, some of you blacksmiths or artisans. Some of you are young and some of you are old. Some women and some men.
Well it doesn't matter who you are, you are all Abyssanian. You must not give in to temptation my friends. We can let Sennar take what we have fought for and died for.
Or we can rise up and fight some more. We can win, we can conquer. We can prove our worth. No matter who you are we all have a duty. A duty to your king and to your nation.
Women should make supplies and other things for soldiers on the front. Men should join the army and fight for their country. I am ready to die for my country.
I am ready to give my tears, sweat, and blood for my country are you? Are you ready to fight for your country? Are you ready to stand and fight for your country. Come and stand with me. Fight and die with me.
I will tell you the only thing I regret is that I have but one life to give for my country. But one chance in this time to make myself known. Do you want to be one of them. One who wears the uniform and is remembered as one of the greatest soldiers. Or do you want to stay in your homes widdling away your life until the end. And when your grandchildren ask you where you were duringthe World War all you can say is,
"I guess I just sat in my house and got my life on."
Or will you say, "Boy, I was on the front, drilling rounds into those b4stards and giving everything I had. I was a warrior!"
I know I can tell my grandchildren that, but will you. Will you make a difference. Will you take down those damn boys down and win. Will you fight for your countries greatness.
I will be there when it happens. I will be there, I only ask will you be there with me. Will you be remembered?
They say that the victors write history, and many others have asked me how history will look at me?
Hmhm, I said, I believe history will be very kind to me, because I intend to write it.
So will you be in the history books, or will you just fade away a small speck in the endless time. Or will you stand out and make a grand stand. This is your chance to fight and your chance for glory. Stand by me, fight by me, I will lead you to victory!!!
The crowd appluaded with wild cheers. The call of war echoed across the sea of blood.
