The Coronation Ceremony was a sight to see. It was beautifully decked out, held in a ancient stone Buddhist Temple. There was crowned the future King of Provinces Unie de la Asie Sud-Est, or as it was now know, The Kingdom of Preahthaimranma, which means The Kingdom of the Sacred Free Realms of God in the intermixing Indochinese languages, though it can trace its roots back to the ancient Sanskrit that shaped Indochina.
The Coronation Ceremony was for King Phutthayotfa Nguyen. He was of Siamese and Vietnamese descent, but he has no problem in pretending to also have Khmer blood in his veins. He claims to be the rightful ruler of Indochina because he desends from "All the rulers since the Khemer Empire, I am Emperor of Ava to Ayutthaya to Annam! I am Sucessor of the Mons to the Khmers!." He would also throw around in diplomatic Circles that he was the Asian King of the HRE's Hegemony.
Phutthayotfa Nguyen was no idiot either. It was no accident he became King. He was brought up in a small Siamese Village, educated in a Monastery. His Father became rich in the trade with Foreigners, especially the French. So he sent Phutthayotfa Nguyen off to the University of Paris. There Phutthayotfa Nguyen study politics and history, become a scholar of Asian history and a proponent of Machiavellian Politics. It is said he carried around a copy of the Prince with him where ever he goes.
After he graduated from Paris, Phutthayotfa Nguyen using money he inherited from his now deceased father, traveled to London. There he ran into the crowd at the Academy of Thought. He joined them in their distaste for Egalitism, and read and debated much on the topic of Chipism. But he thought that was a silly name, he instead called it Cakrism, which came from the word Cakra, a Indochinese symbol of power(OOC: No more Chipism, this is like Fascism, but instead of Italian Fasces, Indochinese Cakra). He became a major fan of it, and continued to support it even when he moved back to the now French and Free PUASE. He bided his time and consolidated his influence as he saw the corrupt Tee grow more distant from the people. After Phutthayotfa Nguyen made sure he was ready, he declared Tee "Insane, Absent, and no Longer fit to rule!" The Military Dictatorship was overthrown, and Phutthayotfa Nguyen was installed as King.
And even before he was crowned Phutthayotfa Nguyen began to reform his Kingdom how he saw fit. Of course he stayed loyal to the French and the Japanese, for he had too to survive, and they were winning the world war. He always hedged his bets. But what he saw in Indochina was the perfect breeding ground for Cakrism. He could unite the region through nationalism, and the traditions were laready in place to secure they obeyed him. It was the perfect time for it too.
So after Phutthayotfa Nguyen accepted the crown he made a stirring speech to the people there on the need for unity, for the Indochinese Race to band together, and for faith in the military of the people, and above all for faith in him! He announced the formation of the Rathasapha, or the National Assembly. He of course would fill it with supporters and puppets, but that didn't matter. All that mattered now was pleasing the French and gaining power.
At the end of his speech, he turned to his people and pumped his hand into the air, "Beleive" and then he pumped it again, "Obey" and he then swept his hand across the horizon and closed it into a fist, "FIGHT!!!"
