But what about freedom?, is such life worth living?. Prosperity is brought to France by the labor of the workers!. We do not need a royal house to keep the nation strong. In fact we would do much better without having to support the expensive queens and their fashion statements. He promises peace!. peace like the one we have enjoyed under him and his father?. If you ask me, there has been no peace but war after war. And who have given... or whose life has been taken away in those battlefields? not of the rich nor royalty, but the common and often poor worker. We know that as human beings we have been given few rights. And among those rights Liberty has been taken from us. Taken to be replaced by the order that keeps the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Rebellion and revolution do have a heavy price, and Valérien I tells us about it.
Our livelyhood, our families, our homes and our very own life would be at risk. But what else is worth more than freedom and liberty? what is the price of knowing that despite struggle, one is is fighitng and living for what is best. Would one rather live on their own knees or die standing up? Must one live a quiet silent life? or die screaming those ideals one believes to be true?
