Since its rise we have been friends and protectors of Badawistan. The recent aggressive actions undertaken by said nation has, however, invalidated all warm relations we have had with the government. The brutal invasion of Kandid Persia, a Scandinavian ally, can not be overlooked in good conscience. As such, the Union of Scandinavia hereby declares war on the nation of Badawistan until such a time that a peace is reached that is acceptable to the nation of Persia.
Scandinavia will fight for those of her allies who are violated and for the freedom of people. As such we also officially announces our intention to protect those tribes on the Arabian Peninsula who have asked for our aid. It is our intention to establish a protectorate for these people so that they can have the future they wish. Furthermore, we recognize all Caliphate claims on the peninsula and will not set up any protectorates in lands claimed by them.
As such Scandinavia has only two requests to the peacetreaty currently in the works. Firstly, the abdication of Sheik Abdul Almasra and, secondly, the establishment of a protectorate for those tribes who wish to be part of neither the Caliphate nor Badawistan.

DECLARATION OF EMANCIPATION
Whereas it is the belief of this government that all men are born free, we can not in good faith continue to accept what is happening on the Danish West-Indian Islands.
Therefore, with the full support of his Majesty, this government hereby declares all slaves are to freed effective from New Years Eve, this year. Effective immediately though, all slaves are to paid in coin for their work.
All former slaves capable of reading and writing Danish will be granted full citizenship and all those who do not possess these skills will be offered teaching to learn these skills with full citizenship granted upon passing their exams. This will apply to all Scandinavian Territories.
Those former slaves who should wish to leave the territory of the Danish West-Indian Islands will be granted free transport to a place of their choosing as long as the local authorities there, in the case of a foreign nation, approves of them. Should any wish to leave for Scandinavian Central Africa or Scandinavian Australia, they will be allowed to do so and given land to work.
In recognition of the importance to the economy of the Danish West-Indian Islands all plantationowners will be granted free mechanical equipment to compensate for their losses and to keep production high. It is not the wish of our government to bring any people to ruin and for this reason we will purchase production equipment and give it to the people of the Danish West-Indian Islands.
In addition, all ships found to be carrying slaves in Scandinavian Territorial Waters will be confiscated, the slaves freed and the captain placed on trial for violations of human rights. This decree takes effect immediately.
Finally, in recognition of the value of all human beings and their rights as individuals all women in the Scandinavian Union are granted full voting rights, effective immediately.
To oversee that things are done as decreed the government of the Scandinavian Union have appointed Hermann von Scholten as new Governor-General of the Scandinavian Islands with the primary responsibility to see that these new laws are carried out.

things back to normal, i want oman, thats it, I want the tribes south of me, thats all i want, I will pay persia for oman in 4 eco points in 2 eco points over the course of two turns so they can rebuild their nation which has be completely destroyed by war. How does this sound to everyone, also question to great powerful roman emperor, may I move into some formally byzantine lands, excluding palestine?

We will not look kindly your attempts to "liberate" our people who want to be part of Persia. However, we are willing to agree on peace treaty, on following terms:
1) Badawistan will immediately withdraw from all Persian territories.
1b) If any damage is done to the infrastructure of occupied territories or to Persian people living there, it will be taken as violation of the peace treaty and will lead to immediate redeclaration of war.
2) Badawistan is to pay Persia economic reparations of 5 eco.points within the next three turns.
These terms are not negotiable. If Badawistan does not agree on them, war will be pursued until the Badawistan nation is utterly defeated.
