Any tribes which may have contacted Scandinavia are rebelling against the legitimate authority of the Caliphate. While they are welcome to leave for amnesty in your East African territories, they will be prosecuted for treason if they remain.

We wish to gain your official recognition for our gains in Alexandria.

OOC: Never mind about the Sinai, I didn't see that GEAR had occupied it.

As in OTL, i.e. a highly confusing mix of Tengrism, Buddhism and some other religions.

Lurker's Comment: I actually agree with stormy, he's one of the few players that actually will cause his nation to go to civil war. I mean, I've never seen north king cause his own civil war, it's always "I must defeat all my neighbors, will you help me and etc" ;)

You haven't exactly played in every NES that I have, have you? ;) I generally try to win wars, yes; that's basically IC, is it not? :p

You have attacked our ally, Persia. While we are not the HRE or GEAR, we are still an ally of Persia, and we would suggest you do rather more than withdraw from those lands. You ought to withdraw from all Persian lands, and pay indemnities.

FROM: The Holy Roman Empire [of the French Nation]

Though we see that you wish to re-unify "your" people, we do not believe that such an action is possible if it requires a declaration of war upon our ally Persia. Furthermore. Persia has greater claim to these regions, indeed, having first conquered them in antiquity. We believe that the only resolution for this situation is a Badawistani withdrawal from all Persian lands, though perhaps negociations could be made for the Trucial regions of southern Arabia. We would not be averse to allowing Badawistan to exert greater control over certain Palestine and Levantine territories.

To: Persian Shahdom and all her allies
From: Badawistan

We are willing to agree to terms that are proposed by the Great Holy Roman Empire. We would like to discuss southern arabia and perhaps area of qatar with you. We will withdraw immediatly from other lands, but would like to discuss oman and perhaps qatar. We are interested in Palestine as well.

OOC: If you got a PM, you should bloody answer it. IC:

TO: Badawistan
FROM: Greater East Asian Republic

In the event a suitable settlement in the eyes of the Kandid Persian Shahdom is rendered between itself and Badawistan, we will agree to rescind our declaration of war. Until such time, however, all activites by this government within Badawistan are officially suspended.

We feel that a nation such as Badawistan should not be granted administrative control over any territory outside of Arabia. Not only do the Badawins have little experience in foreign governance, but their erratic and unwise actions in attacking Persia for loose nationalistic goals seem to give one a glimpse of this nation's true character. The Islamic Caliphate, by comparison, has retained publically strict neutrality throughout the Great War, though it remains a firm friend of the great powers.

We wish to express our claim of stewardship over the Holy Land, called Palestine, to your governments. Were the Caliphate to be granted control over these provinces, religious autonomy for all practitioners of a faith that acknowledge the supremacy of One True God will be tolerated within our dominion; this policy unaffecting the other Caliphal domains of Egypt, Sennar, Abyssinia, Yemen, and Somalia.

The Caliphate has proved a steadfast ally and a neutral party, and contrasted with the rash opportunism of the Badawins, it should become apparent that acknowledging our claim would be a profitable and just decision for all parties.

Sincerely,

Caliph Hassan I.

Maybe you could trade Palestine for Yemen. It makes sense.

Except that the Badawis don't really hold Palestine, can't threaten Yemen, and that he has an immense amount of power on his side.

Hey, don't make me place illegal sanctions on you Krakow. Don't think i won't do it!!!!

That was total sarcasm. I'm your ally silly:lol:
