NESLife attempt #3

I only like it because it lets me decide what color it shall be, next turn shall be different

Post the Spikii-Finners :) Would be fun to see the largest animal family that didn't evolve out of one of the four first animals :)

But then again...maybe I'll pull out my wife's 240 color pencil box and just go through the list

LIGHT-PINKISH MAROON EFERSCONE!

@erez- Ask and ye shalt receive. :D

BTW, I save over my old files here, as my uploads folder is getting quite full. So if you want to save an evolution tree for future reference, load it onto your own comp.

Once again, many thanks for all the new evolutions!

@Lord_Iggy, the finner chart looks cool. Not too many straight lines on that one :)

@Thlayli, I like that name :)

Where's the picture of LB's Valios Polyteiras? It's in the stats and update, but not the picture.

Oh dear, I seem to have left that out :o I will fix that tommorrow. It will obviously look similar to the Travalion, maybe a bit skinnier.

Are we still allowed to make multiple evolutions per turn with our available genes?

Ive never allowed there to be more than one evolution per player per turn! You have to spend all 3 on one new evolution. Or 4 if you have an unused bonus. Any attempted violations of this rule will be dealt with harshly.

SOME THOUGHTS
I think every gene should somehow be seen in the species unless it's explained as a inner organ. For example. What is cold resistance? I mean for fish in icy lakes this means they got an anti-freeze in the blood, so fine not seen. But in elephants for example the cold resistance is not an inside organ (warm blooded is more temp control than resistance - can help but you better find other ways to really resist) but outside, in the form of huge ears they can flap. So I think people need to explain how every new organ they add influence the animal whether it's an inside organ or change or something on the outside that helps them.

Hmm I agree, that is a good point. But then, I dont have a biology degree, so who's to judge whether somebody's explanation is good or not?

I know alot of the time I have tried to make this more realistic, but I dont want to get too into the details of how things work. I'd rather keep it all kinda 'blurry', its the only way I can do this :o

:D You can mention what colour you want it to be when you post the details, you dont have to name it after the color you want! Though, I admit theres a good chance I will forget what you said and draw it some random color if its not in the name :)

OCC: Not wanting to face harsh punishment I shall only do one evolution per turn. Sorry, I thought at the beginning we were allowed to do only one evolution per turn. Thanks for being merciful and reminding of the rules so I did not have to face your harsh punishment :).

Spoiler :
Seavalion: The Farow
Evolved from: Cephrivervalion
Genes (30): Plankton Eating x1, Complex Stomach x1, Flesh Eating x2, Vibration Sense x2, Eyes x2, Brain Power x2, Skeleton x1, Cartilage x1, Jaws x3, Communal Behaviour x3, Crawling x1, Water Retention x1, Lungs x1, Scales x1, Hibernation x1, Swimming x3, Parenting Instinct x1, Large Size x1, Live Young x1, Pack hunting x1
Description: As the socialavalion continued its march back into the sea it was finally completed with the arrival of the Seavalion. This large creature replaced much of the apex predators in the ocean. Shedding its legs for fins its return to the ocean was a monumental step back towards the sea. Competition was low and prey bountiful. In hard times the creature relied on its plankton as new prey. Instead of soft shelled eggs live young were given birth to instead. It made it easier for packs to protect their young rather then be stationary and vulnerable. The march back to the sea was complete.

Kingvalion: The Farow
Evolved from: Seavalion
Gene added: Size x1, Live Young x1, Lungs x1
Gene removed:
Description: The Valion family had begun to diversify greatly and this creature was the stepping stone into something new. The young of these giants were often not developed enough to face life in the sea. Mothers began to have much longer pregnancies and thus less childern. The lifespan of these creatures greatly increased as parents spent more energy rearing much smaller amounts of offspring, The babies were born almost miniature versions of their parents ready for life in the water. Lungs were also improved allowing the great seavalion to migrate great distances. These giants of the sea with their new powerful lungs could not outswim shoals of fish but instead would herd them into traps using cooperation.

Normally I don't care what color my stuff comes out as, I just take whatever randomness you decide on, but I just wanted to have fun with it for a short while.

May the Light-Pinkish-Maroon-with-Yellow-Pokadots-on-the-Tentacles-and-Green-Stripes-Down-the-Exoskeleton Eferscone live forever.

Please no need to apologise, in fact the harshest punishment i have is to post angry faces like so:

Kingvalion sounds cool! I should have given advanced warning about the birthing issue with the Seavalion, but i didnt think of it till i was updating :o. I cant think of any problems with the Kingvalion right now...

Thats a cool name but i might have trouble fitting it on one page :)

Tuughwurm : Abaddon
Evolved from: Leafworm
Genes (6): Digging x2, Water Retention x 2, Crawling x 1, Eating Dead Things x1
Genes Added (4): Digging x 1, Eating Dead Things x 1, Bristles x 1, Plating x 1

The leafworm got nasty. Digging deaper tunnels to avoid predators, along with its plating which helped fend of fights in the initiation. Bristles helped movement/sensing aswell as defence. All these efforts required energy thus the worm has to develope a better digestive system/ability to cope with the dead matter which it consumed.

That's alright, one page for me, one page for everyone else:D

The real issue would be when doing a spotlight on the branch that it would be found on.

Just to be certain though...Violet Eferscone is what my real evolution is named. The above name will be my threat for 10 or so updates in the future maybe.

Even though you ARE the closest relatives of the Radarex, I think I would have to wipe you out for that atrocity. :p

If you were to do that, you should have to do it with the Radarex descendents

EDIT: In other news, I need an update because I already have the name for my next evolution after this one. Spinaneraria!

How do you get a zero? Save completely failing to hand in an assignment, it's difficult to get worse than a 20%.

Well, back in high school there was a guy in my psychology class who handed in a test where on every answer he put the name of a professional baseball player. So technically he handed in the assignment and got a zero.

Oltic Scraper: Charles Li
Evolved form : Ol Scraper
New Genes (22): Vibration sencing x1 Plant eating x1 walkingx1
Genes(22) : Skeleton x1, Jaws x1, Plant Eating x5, Swimming x2, Eyes x1,Vibration Sencing, Water Retention x2, Crawling x2, Lungs x2, Walking x2, Spikes x1, Digging x1
Description: As the land allowed only the best to survive the the limited plants, Ol Scraper and The Leggers are matched but by speed, However, the
Spikes allowed them to notice vibrations better. They all so used their walking technique to good effect. But they still Crawl and they still cant stop muching! those Oltic Scrapers (name a new sea after it.... :p)
