Nesopolis

I would like a city near the coast so I can have a dock zone. Also name it Klerikstan.

I have this game too, and I was wondering if you planned to have some Sims made for each of our cities so they can tell us how our part of the city is doing and stuff..... just thought it might be a good idea.

EDIT: is there an date of when the next update will be?
Just send orders now. At latest, next update is in 17 hours or something like that.

And people can put MySims into their cities if they want to. But there are only five.

Question: Are you going to be using cheats for money, or the "you don't deserve it" cheat?
I don't plan to, though I may in the chance that these cities become totally economically unfeasible. As for 'you don't deserve it', I don't plan to do that either. We'll get rewards as they come normally.

Welcome Cleric!

About NPCing: If you don't send orders, it'll be up to your citizens to build new roads and zone things. They don't think big picture, so no fancy grids, etc.

Umm build a dock! Create a heavy industrial zone, with a heavy residential area away from it. Zone a medium commercial area next to the residential for some shops. Also like every good country I demand a nuclear power plant!

Election day for the naming of the town established by germanicus12

The residents content with farms and homes went to the mayors home to vote. At the end of the day a citizen from some city I saw being built was asked if he could count the votes.... With the votes tallied and counted, Logan was the winner and a new city was formed. It will be called Logan and it boasts to be one of the major trading industries in the region. We hope that with our excellent coverage on the sea and the river we will build docks and open trade with the outside world. We also hope to build an airport to reach the far lands and bring people here.
But don't build the Docks or Airports until I am ready, I want my industry to increase power first.

Also I would like to have a MySim in city if noone takes a spot for awhile.

I claim the hill island! Name it Nikosia please. :)

My people are obsessed with the sea. I have no idea how this game works, what can be built and what not, but we have a clear goal: to build a gigantic lighthouse on the top! May need to start smaller though - early orders are to build wharfs and whatnot for fishing, and start a road to get materials up to that top.

I dont understand the rules all that well, can someone help explain them...

Rules? What rules?

And Sheep, go write a faction! :whipped: ;)

'Our people have travelled far, and laboured long for the fruits of our desire. Now that we have finally arrived in what is our new Garden of Eden, we must make sure that ur future is bright and our manner steadfast' - Neville Green founder of Greenville.

ooc: Sorry for crappy intro. Greenville is to be placed on the map on the bay to the west of Farrowville.

So iggy what do you require orders wise?

What you want to do: IE: Expand residential, try to get businesses, industry, build a school, build a highway... it is, as I said, very freeform.

Do you accept in-thread orders? If so mine are post #23.

I'll accept them due to the low-budget nature of this NES. And I plan to update frequently, so I won't have to dig far.

Chuck me in anywhere.

My city is called Blackbanana. Strangely enough, it's primarily full of industrial and (wilting) coconut trees.
The residents are all densely populated apartments and tenements. Essentially a bloody mob.

Welcome!

j_eps, where do you want Epstonia to be? There are lots of hills in this town.

hill goodview. i had that at first but edited it out.

Put me somewhere near the coast near Port au Julien.

Luckytoningfieldville City. Mainly hotels and commercial areas. With some rich neighborhoods.

Just like to say, you can't make your area rich or poor just by saying it. You have to make the quality of life and education high to get a rich, upscale area.

Farowville Orders

-Expand the farmland areas to the edges of the city boundary
-Build any gifts that come up that provide jobs (military base, etc)
-Expand the residential and commercial districts in the core of the city
-Make power plants as needed. If possible avoid coal power plants but if unavoidable put the plant far from the city.
-Also, begin building an industrial sector closer to the ocean in preperation for a dock to be constructed to begin exports.
-Set aside a small plot of land as a beach for my beloved loaches ;)

With an unnerving feeling that too many laws of reality were being broken, the NAO Orbital Command Center materialized, in Low Earth Orbit. It hovered, as the fusion hyperdrives pulsated gently.

And then it exploded.

Several escape pods, along with one heavily damaged attack cruiser, emerged from the maelstrom. They were trailed by several fighters. On the bridge of the cruiser, Thlayli was eating a sandwich.

"Hmm, status report?"

"The headquarters is destroyed, enemy elements are pursuing, and sandwich making capabilities are running at 7%."

"Acceptable losses. Is the waffle iron working?"

"No."

"Damn. Hand over the controls."

As the now vaporized Command Center peacefully rained Rhode Island sized chunks of burning plasma into the ocean, the fighters closed on the Polyethylene Victory. The one remaining turret fired back, and subnuclear detonations fried two of the three pursuing fighters.

"Out of ammo, sir."

"Bloody hell. Distance to land?"

"2000 meters."

"Good enough, let's bail out. Oh, and make this one explode, too."

Twelve figures dived out of the ship, which exploded into yet another flaming inferno. The fighter broke off pursuit, and vanished back to another alternate reality. The parachuting figures disengaged their personal cloaking devices. A vaguely Middle-Eastern man looked at the High Chairman.

"Well, that could have gone better."

Thlayli grinned. "Yeah, the explosion wasn't nearly as big as I thought it would be. And the confetti was a little much, don't you think?"

The demolitions technician, a panda, shrugged. "Sorry, I couldn't help it."

"You know, at this rate of descent, we aren't going to stop in time."

"That's true...but look at the bright side, we did get here first."

"Is that a windmill?"

"Yeah, it definitely looks like a...hmm."

Moving at roughly 125 miles per hour, the first three NAO soldiers slammed into (and through) the windmill, allowing Thlayli to land neatly on their backs.

"Thanks guys." They mumbled something, probably busy with their broken spines.

"Hm, that spot over there looks good," an otter observed.

"Isn't that underwater?"

"Let's discuss this later. We've attracted an angry mob, for some reason that I fail to understand." Equipped with torches and pitchforks, a large group of North Kingstons was rapidly approaching.

Activating the personal teleportation device, and conveniently forgetting that the other NAO underlings didn't have one, Thlayli disappeared in a flash of blue light.

He reappeared on top of the mountain that overlooked the entire map, er, world. Laughing maniacally, he planted a flag that read, "NAO Chi Minh City."

Orders: Start on top of that mountain, or as high an elevation as possible. Build something large and impressive looking. ;)
