It isn't so much challenging as it is unnecessarily difficult to figure out where to put units.

The new tribute mechanic is weird for sure, but it's very generous for units in the water. If you can embark guys, then dew it - you might find they're scaring not only the nearby Lhasa, but the further Vatican too somehow.

Also anything with movement bonuses. Mongolia's 8(?) movement Chariot Archers can intimidate half the continent at once, for example.

Well they are the Mongols, so of course City-States are terrified.

Does 4-20-2 feels easier to you? My cities barely have unhappiness, they used to have at least %75 population worth of unhappiness. AI also seems to underperform in tech, only 1 AI being competitive (Russia) while others are lagging. At least half of the AIs used to be competitive.

Depends greatly if you have only low populated cities or play only tall. Cause the unhappiness reductions are flat and should be able to reduce up to around 15 unhappiness per city, if those cities didnt surpass this amount of population, you should be relative save. Even greater, if you have picked artistry and freedom ideology, with even more flat unhappiness reduction for specialists.

They'res a glitch going on I have like literally Zero interface on map load... I kept trying to reinstall the mod same problem...

Are you about to publish a new edition? Cause I keep reinstalling and its not working...

No. No one else is having this issue, it’s an issue on your end.

G
You have a cosmetic bug. This just pops but games launch successfully. It appears is an icon missing issue and the effect is that the flag promotion icon in the top right corner of the menu ribbon is glitchy (displayed as a yellow square). 43 Civ version.

That's an installation issue on your end, not a project problem. Sorry, can't help with that.

Naa I mean that literally no found city option button (the unit command on the bottom left is gone) and all the menus.

Still pops. Even after re-install. It says it cannot load a certain dds. That usually means that the dds is incidentally not in the package. These dds file types are for icons as you certainly know well.

Doesn't bother me. Game runs.

I always have an issue when I install using the automatic installer. The Ul_bc1 folder for Enhanced User Interface never installs properly. It should be found here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC
I don't know if that is the problem you are having but it is worth checking. If the folder is missing you go here https://mega.nz/#F!fcsEhALY!XpWbkVod5utm-S1s-7TUhQ which is the manual install folder found in the How to Install thread. Just download the Ul_bc1.zip file and manually add it into that DLC folder. If I don't do that a lot of things are missing when I try to play and I get error messages.

Your suggestion actually works for my dds problem too.

If someone encounters a warning during loading "Unable to load DC45_UnitPromotions", just place this file in the attachment into

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\UI_bc1\Art2
