I've been following the exciting science changes, the but the rebalanced and updated military aspects are a great surprise! Very excited to test (and play!)

China still has science per person on the tea pavilion. Intended?

As The Huns, unlocking Authority gave me access to every ancient-era wonder. My install or bug?

Got a similar problem, some tech some where (or unlocking piety, or something else I might have done) gave me access to both theology wonders and Alhambra without researching the techs.

EDIT: I guess that explains it, weird mechanic.

Now wonders do unlock at certain number of policies or the prerequisite tech... so check if you have the required number of policies, if so then it is not a bug. Otherwise probably it is.

I did not have the correct number of policies unlocked.

The Musketman says it obsoletes the Samurai, but this UU is still obsoleted only at Rifling. Nevertheless, the Samurai is now weaker than the musketman (22 :c5strength: vs 25 :c5strength: respectively), rather than stronger (old 25 :c5strength: vs 24 :c5strength:). Other UUs may be at a similiar situation.

Obsoletes means it upgrades into. The samurai can be built until rifling however. All intended.

Re: wonder unlock issue, they'll show up in build list when you are one policy from being able to build them, and will be build able when you have the amount listed in tooltip.

So much to test yet so little time.

A few problems at first glance :

-Armored cars get twice the no melee promotion, I suppose one should be no terrain bonus or bonus vs armor 50%

- Gunships can't attack anything because they have no range assigned, also is it intented that they loose both the city attack malus and fire and move

I'll look at this. Gunships worked for me, but I might've messed something up during a merge.

I feel Gold will be too sparse early game with those changes to Market, I think +1G or something similar should be added to something in Ancient/Classical era if you have a Market. It seems like it may be a terrible building now. Some synergy (like +1 Gold for the nerfed Forge/Arenasseum and/or sth else) would make it less bad.

Besides that the changes are interesting but I will need some time to get used to them, they may have nerfed tall cities a bit too much though but that remains to be seen.

The science contribution from running science specialists, and the science contribution from academies built by great scientists both got indirectly buffed with these changes. Tall cities have an easier time running science slots, so that might help tall keep up.

I mean, the musketman's tooltip is now saying you can upgrade the samurai into a musketman for 165 :c5gold:, just like the longswordman can, when it isn't the case. And it's odd to see the samurai's :c5strength: CS rebalance reverted if it's still meant to be built until Rifling.

The Berserker has 16 cs rather than something comparable to the long-swordsman.

I'm having the same issue. Ancient wonders unlocked with Authority or Progress, no policies chosen.

Tested it with, and without, the cultural diversity mod.
