Trajan and Theodore Roosevelt are amazing. I am playing as Poland on Prince instead of King and I'm facing constant aggression everywhere. Not surprised ahahah.
Please educate yourself. I'm Polish so I'm gonna educate you: She strenghtened the nation through marriage with Jagiełło, promoted science, culture and economic developement. She's even on our currency. So please educate yourself. She's a great choice because she was so versatile, almost as much as Casimir the Great
She's a woman so any criticism against her is instantly met with morons shouting "SEXISM!"Cos she was a woman. That's enough for a lot of morons to be against her.
Any ideas how to best play Poland? I'm not sure if I'm playing correctly. My culture bomb didn't seem to work, but maybe cause there was no opponent next to my encampment? Seems very situational to me. Not a worthy feature. Other than more faith, do they bring anything unique to the table?
I also miss the extraordinary impact to the world history by the polish history (except the battle of Vienna) that they were preferred now.
There are some earlier strategy posts in this thread. Culture bomb only capture within your normal 3-tile radius, except for completed districts and wonders.
The strongest thing they can do is found a religion with Crusade (+10 strength near enemy with your religion), forward-settle a city at minimum distance, build an encampment that culture bombs tiles right up against the enemy city, and then send in the Hussars, financed by their Market UB.
I've already played two top multiplayer players who consider this OP, so we banned Poland, sadly. I like how controllable the timing is on the encampments (just switch to building something else), and that even if no one is near you in the early game you can use it to claim 200 gold worth of tiles.
That is what I suspected. The voice of Jadwiga is pretty funny. Well, voice acting is pretty low quality, artificial, but that was pretty predictable, like most Polish dubbings.
i feel bad for wiping her out the other night nowShe lived to about age 25 or so (she died shortly after giving birth to a daughter, who also died).
Can someone please help me answer this pretty simple question? Thanks in advance.Just want to be sure. It the Polish scenario available in multiplayer? Can you only play it with two other friends or is it possible to play as the Ottomans or the Order?
