Rivers look nice, definitely a different shader. A tad darker. And the transition to sea looks better too.
(although it's nothing earthshattering)

The transition was what I was worried about. You definitely got the impression someone screwed up a bit there, but, because of time constraints, they just decided it was good enough. I'm stuck away from home for awhile, anyone want to take a screenshot?

Yeah, me too, but retrying helped.
Guess the Steam-servers are busy or something.

Got same error messages, but restarting worked. Possibly just the busy servers. UI resource panel addition is fairly pointless. Saves a few clicks at least. Social Policy screen is beautiful now though. CS Oslo changed it's name in my current game to "Quebec City". To accommodate the upcoming DLC, no doubt.

You can't compare first person shooter to a strategy game. What I have noticed in many strategy games is that they are the ones taking more out of the machine than the first person shooter. Europa Universalis III is a good example and thats not even graphics heavy. This game has tons of things going on every second point and shoot games not so much.

Well they most likely were testing the changes for ten days to make sure that they worked right. This still doesn't mean they didn't fix more bugs but those will be in the next patch they are making.
