But excitement is shortlived and then you can get stuck with something you really did not want to get..
Nothing to worry if you got pair of socks or some lousy t-shirt - in worst case you will have to wear it once in a while... But if you get the worst watch or bicycle ever?! Or Civilization in PBEM game?? You have to live with it. Long. Very long. And that's the price for a few minutes of excitement.
It's like with drugs - awesome experience - if you never look beyond today.

That's me: ANY topic, and in a minute I can get to philosophy and meaning of life...

Urb, so you are from Poland? I was born in Poland, Gdansk, but know I live in Sweden.
Where in Poland do you live?

Poland it is. I was born in Konin, in the center of Poland, now I study in Wrocław (aka Breslau).
You spent most of your life in Sweden or did you live for a while in Poland before mowing?
Sweden must be a beautiful country... I'm thinking about going tramping in the Swedish wild someday. Any advice on that?

We moved to Sweden when I was 1½ years old.

If you want to go hiking in Sweden it depends very much on what you want to see. You must be more specific because the nature varies some depending on where you are in Sweden.

The good thing is that we have this law that allows you to walk and camp almost everywhere. If you would translate it directly to english it's called "Every-mans-right".

Great, I was concerned with the legal issues, but if I can camp anywhere - that's exactly what I'm looking for I haven't thought about specifics yet, so I don't really know where and when it is best to go. I just know that I would love to spend a week or two away from civilization (not the game, of course ) and Sweden seems a perfect choice.

I'm going home in a few hours and I wonder when it will be best to check my e-mail... Probably tomorrow evening.

Please post here when you send me a game, maybe I'll ask one of my friends to keep an eye on this thread.

Just my luck. The one day I don't check my email the file arrives in my inbox. I recieved the file yesterday. I won't be able to send the file until about 10pm EST today. So, in about 12 or 13 hours I'll be able to get to my computer with Civ on it. If I can send it earlier I will.

Hi guys.

I'm sorry I didn't replied previously here but I was kinda busy with a work project working 16 hours per day.

I apologize that when I receive a turn is dead midnight I'm sleeping. I see my turn usually next morning at work (8am UK time). It only takes 5 mins to send I to Dazz. Dazz also can confirm the times he received my email and compare them with Michaels to prove that it's not me holding the turns.

Nvm. I sent this morning the 3rd turn and I would like to comment the luck of some people to get tech from the very first turn.

Btw, I said hello too to my first contact
