Well we cant know how relation would have been between muslim and jews if Hitler didnt exist. Has far as I know, a project to find a land to the jews was underway before WWII. Even Hitler had a plan to send them to Madagascar before realizing he was a stupid to persecute them, crippling the economy of the country he invaded making them a burden instead of a "bonus"

Furthermore, Hitler made history because he was stupid! WWII was a suicide, a last attempt to satisfy this old Prussian expantionist dream, when WWI failed to neutralize them, it was just a matter of time before round 2 begin. Hitler wasnt the great evil genius behind all of it, he's the guy who sold it and took all the blame in the end.

Man, I just read your whole post. Full of errors.
1) Madagascar and Zionism were not related in the least.
2) Zionism gained its force AFTER the War made it clear, and really started going when the work up to the war hinted at the need of a Jewish homeland.
3) Hitler wanted nothing to do with Prussian expansionism... He hated the Prussians and what they stood for, and the Prussians weren't big fans of his either.

I suggest reading up on your history if you want to play with the big dogs.

Didn't the Chinese version of Civ 4 have an extra leader or something? Wouldn't it be possible to simply remove Hitler from the German edition of the game? I'm not a fan of having Hitler in the game (due to possible abuse by people who want a way to simulate their twisted fantasies that shouldn't be entertained), but this would seem a feasible option.

Yeah, it does beg the question, who would want to play as Hitler... and the answer is... well... fill in the blank ______________

I have him available in my custom mods, but I never choose him, I have played against him once as an AI... but he spawned as a vassal from Charlemagne...
 
I was wondering why none of Englands Patiarchs made into the game like William the Conquer, Henry the VIII or one of the others.

To the comment about Crusade leaders we do have Saladin, might as well give him his arch-nemesis Richard. Unlike a certain other individual Richard regretted going into the Crusades.

What would people think of JFK or Theodore Roosevelt for USA leaders?
 
USA already has three leaders. They don't really need another, lest Firaxis show bias towards USA, which I believe they are doing a good job in keeping out. Also, Roosevelt is already in as a USA leader, with traits Protective/Industrious.

Egypt could use another leader, maybe Khufu, the pyramid builder, or Thutmosis III, the warlord pharaoh who expanded the New Kingdom Egypt.

Native America really needs to be divided up because I'm certain that not all Native Americans during colonization were hostile and spy crazy *COUGH*SITTINGBULL*COUGH*.

Aztec, Inca and Maya need another leader.

Arabia could also use another leader. The Arabians had some of the largest empires on earth, so its strange that they are only represented by Saladin.
 
You''ll notice I said THEODORE not Franklin, these suggestions could be replacements for the current ones. I didn't mean to suggest USA didn't have enough.

I wouldn't mind Cleopatra for Egypt.

I don't really understand why people want Cleo as an Egyptian leader. She wasn't even Egyptian by blood. When Alexander was kicking Persia around, Egypt essentially became Alexander's vassal. When Alexander died, his empire was cut ups between his three top military leaders, one of them being Ptolemy. Ptolemy was name pharaoh, despite being a Macedonian. Since Cleopatra's great great grandfather was Ptolemy, she was Macedonian.

Neither is Isabella Spanish and yet she's Spain's leader. If anyone needs more leaders it's probably Spain. Greece, Rome, Germany and France all have more then one leader why not Spain?

I think the main reason for Cleo is that she is probably the most famous of Egyptian female rulers.

We already have 3 American leaders, 3 English, AND 3 Russian. I think Nebuchadnezzar for Babylon would be nice.
 
I agree with the above so much we should just talk about other Leaders now.

Like I would rather have William the Conquer then Churchill, though I get why Church is there. Maybe put him instead of Victoria.

Mostly the reason I'd like Theodore is because he could be an Agressive leader for the US as opposed to the other current three.

I don't really see William the Conquerer as being English. He took over England. It would be like having Alexander as a ruler for Persia because he conquered them.

Theodore would be nice for the USA, or Andrew Jackson.

A leader I would like to see would be Constantine for the Byzantines, because I just don't like Justinian very much. Some would say that Constantine would be better for Rome, but since Rome already has 2 leaders...

Another leader I would like to see is Frederich Barbarossa for the HRE, though there is a LH here for him.

That's why I made him a leader for both Byzantium and Rome.

While that would be interesting, it does not happen under normal settings. Civ will only repeat leaders if there are no other valid choices. So you'd have to have 3 Romes and 2 Byzantines in LoR before that happened. And the same thing will happen in standard BtS if you have multiple instances of the same civ.

I figured as much. You could easily set up a custom game though.
