Dog, would you be able to also make one with a matching civ-coloured beret? Or would that be quite a bit more difficult?

Time to finish my new workstation so I can start doing stuff in digital. Though for me, there is still something about holding a 1:72 model or figure and making them come alive that just cant be matched with a digital version.
Actually, like dannyevilcat I would also love to have a parachutiste with a civ-coloured beret; it would be very useful as a generic elite troop (ever heard of the Royal Egyptian Yellow Berets? Or the chinese Light Pink Berets? Well, it's a vision of mine...Originally posted by dogOriginally posted by dannyevilcat

That would be quite a bit more difficult. You couldn't do it by editing the palette, you have to go in and do a color swap with PSP. If it's something you really, really want (you), then it wouldn't be all that much work (for you ). If it's something you don't really have a need for (me), it would ge a gigantic task.
I thought that as soon as my finals are over and I've recovered from the ordeal, I would sit down and learn to use the Flicster and some good paintprogram to make the beret civ-coloured. But I wouldn't really hold any grudge against anyone who beats me to it. Quite the contrary actually, my relief would be embarrassingly great...Originally posted by Balou
Well, you would need to make the beret/helmet the same color as the civ color on the arms. You could turn the beret into blue via a different palette (maintain indexes, not using civ color), then delete the blue color and apply the palette using nearest color (blue is civ color).
