New unit: Skaven Doomwheel (Jan 20th, 2006)

Here is a skaven doomwheel for Warhammer fantasy. Enjoy

Here's some civilopedia info:
The Doomwheel was designed by the mad genius Ikit Claw, Chief Warlock Clan Skryre, who later created the highly successful Warp-Lightning Cannon. The Chief Warlock is obsessed with creating the ultimate killing machine, determined one day to outdo his predecessors who enjoyed the easy successes of warpfire throwers and jezzails. By harnessing the power of raw warpstone to create energy discharges Ikit Claw has created a terrifying engine of destruction that rolls forward surrounded by a crackling halo of purple warp-lightning. Anything foolish enough to hold its ground before this infernal machine is blasted apart by the warp-lightning or crushed under the Doomwheel itself.

Aaglo can you make this one with human on it, carring a gun.. it would be great.. and then without these green blades.. machine itself is amazing, but i never use fantasy units.. scifi sometimes, but never fantasy

No, it is not presently possible to make new units for Civ4. All that is possible is to change the texture (paint job) on the existing units. There is supposedly going to be a SDK released which will allow units to be added.
But this brings up the other issue; Aaglo uses POV-Ray which will not work with Civ4.
90% or more of the units made for Civ3 can not be made in the same way for Civ4, even once the SDK is released. At present it is looking like it will take several $1000.00 worth of software. So, you could always increase the chances we might support Civ4 by buying it for us.
Sounds dumb doesn't it? Yet, the same expenditature is what Firaxis asks us unit creators to layout just to make free add-ons.
