Just after a little advice on starting. My first moves with my worker will be to go to a cow tile (building the road to it first if its a tile away) and mine/road it. Does it really matter which of the two is done first? If there is no moo-moo, then i will go to the nearest shielded grassland and mine/road. I like to improve two tiles around the capital then start a road to where i'm gunna send my first settler. Should i only improve one tile, mabey even improve more before building a connection road? If there are luxuries around the capital, is it imperitive to connect them straight away?
I usually like my towns to have a temple, barracks, library, and walls before i start my swordsman rush. Is that waiting too late, or mabey is it good to build a courthouse/marketplace before going all-military? I've also heard that walls are as useful as flyscreens on submarines, true?
Hope those 20 questions are clear, just after some other opinions as i'm starting to play Monarch and it seems to be getting more important, and i don't think i use my workers as effectively as i should...
