I think Rome, similarly to Greece, is left to be one of the last civs to build anticipation and interest of players, as well as surprise us (personally I'd expect Egypt, Greece and Rome to be the first three civs revealed because they are, ya know, first things you think about upon hearing the word "civilisation").
This works for me, because I am not interested in Greece or Rome, or their history, so they would be meh for me, but after so unexpectedly long anticipation I really want to see them
I'm going with Rome. I figure, if they do more of a middle game look during the live stream today, then they will should touch more on ME's (I know Religion is the focus, that doesn't mean that they won't talk about other aspects of gameplay). So, since I am almost banking on Rome having something to do with roads (as are many others from what I have read here), I figure that Rome's number should be up soon. Rome is getting some cold cuts!
Does there need to be much of a point? A lot of threads on these forums are arguably pointless, people just like to speculate on these things because they are excited about the game.
- Arabia because it fits the religion theme as we will know more about that today in the livestream,
- and Russia because of Peter´s icon that was leaked and also because it´s the last european civ that is not Rome or Greece, which I think they will reveal later (Greece because of multiple leaders I think will be the last civ revealed... while Rome, just a feeling as to why they would reveal them later but I have no idea)
Note: I voted Russia, to have 2 european and 2 non-european civs left to be revealed.
Note 2: I´ve been wrong on every single guess thus far except for China, which was an obvious one at the time, so it most likely won´t be neither Russia nor Arabia but Rome or Sumeria

I haven't been very good at this, though I don't think most of us have so far. I did get Germany right that week though. This week, going with Arabia. I think after today's livestream they are going to move away from religion a bit. I think the last three will be Rome, Sumeria, and Greece. I picked Russia for this week and was wrong so going with Arabia for next week. Watch it be Russia next instead.
They're so familiar to anyone from any Western culture from childhood, I honestly can't fathom what would make them interesting. For me personally, the ancient world is fascinating--then along come Greece and Rome and make the world boring for a thousand years--then the Medieval period dawns and everything is interesting again.
Anyway, Kongo and Norway both sort of cropped up out of nowhere, so I'm hoping that trend continues and the next civ we see is Sumer.
I no longer consider Rome or Greece a possibility until three weeks or less before launch due to the theory that Firaxis is holding them back for maximum hype. That and they are two of the most iconic civilizations for being the basis of much of the western world as it is today.
So... between Arabia, Russia and Sumeria... I'm voting for Arabia and thinking the civilization will be a mixture of faith and science bonuses. We have screenshots that their Unique Building is the Madrasa which is an Islamic educational institute. That and if they reveal Arabia as having a science bonus it would be a good transition into showing off Russia and Sumeria if they are also science based civilizations.
Rome, everybody expects it to be in anyways and Trajan is ready for takeoff...
I think Greece will be the last civ the reveal if they really happen to get two multiple leaders (getting them more awareness in the media with this "new unexpected feature" )

Science/Faith fits to Saladin, too. So you might be right.
I'm a builder, but where have all the warmongers gone? Russia with Peter is not very likely to be very agressive, same goes for Greece (don't know alot about Gorgo, though) So:
Norway and Egypt a bit depending on the circumstances, Aztecs, Scythia. And then? Who else?
