    At Strategy's request, I am reposting a list that he sent that I got the preliminary research done for. At this point, I am not sure if we really even want to try to get enough units in to every last Civ available in BtS, or select a dozen Civs... lets say Civs that might have survived into the 21st or 22nd century if magic had survived the dark ages and technology continued its pace despite that(Thats my impression of what this mod is trying to accomplish). It seems like we might be able to get a lot more interesting unit combinations if we stick with fewer civs... or if we want to include all civs, we could look at doubling up Unique units with .. like civs, perhaps based on geographical regions? African, Middle-eastern, Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, North America, South America, Asia, East Asia... I know there can and will be a lot of objections from lumping like that, I know that a lot of "regions" have a great diversity of culture in within themselves.. I'm just brainstorming a way to conserve our unique unit art while maintaining flavor of the mod...

    Anyway, that out of the way, where is what I came up with.. I am track down the sources if you want, but its all relatively easy to verify..

    Okay, A couple quick comments, I would leave dwarves in Germany, since there is historical significance there, and move the Orcs out to somewhere else. That keeps us a little more true to form, and gives a less myth rich culture a good set of units. One of my points above, about making the units regional instead of very dedicated to a specific Civ is that with the available units, the most popular and famous of our myths, tend to come from a limited area(Norse, Greek/Roman, Asian, Western/Modern)... Of course every country is rich in myth, but until we have someone who knows their way around the graphics engine.. we are stuck sorting out with what we have I think.. just wanted to add that thought in.

    Hmm, I've looked a bit in the Mods-folders of the download section but I can't find it. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

    BTW: You said that you can only ''mod'' original units etc.
    Well, I'm wondering if you could make a ''Sandsea'' for me. Its just like a sea tile only then in the sand color (instead of the blue). So that it literally looks like a sea of sand.

    Like the Ogir- and the Nam-Yensa Sandsea area's of Final Fantasy XII.

    If I try it my self it would take months only to understand what I'm doing and where to find useful tutorials. And for one who have experience with it I don't think it would take long...

    So I really hope you will be willing to do that for me and whatever you reaction is you could send me a private message.

    Maybe a ''Sandsea'' would be a good thing for in your mod too, it is Fantasy after all.

    Ah, well I did understand that you can't make units. But because a ''Sandsea''-tile is not a unit after all (but environment) so I thought I give it a try.

    (Just in case) do you have any idea where and how to edit it ???

    BTW: If you can't make units and stuff where are you getting the ''new'' units from ??? And what can you do ??? I can only edit the XML-Files (a bit) after ton's of trying.

    African myths don't have much in the way of "monsters", they have a lot of stories with talking animals, so intelligent gorrillas and anacondas might work. voodoo is from africa, so they would have witch doctors and zombies, too.

    Native americans had animal myths too, as well as dragons and skin walkers, there version of werewolves.

    on the next update, please place all dwarfs into the viking civilization for accurate mythology. All Trolls, Dwarfs, and other mythical creatures go there, Sect of Flies should be in Egypt just to represent Egypts mummification mythology.

    I like to see accurate mythological creatures at the right place. Vampires and Elves was developed by the British, Demonic creatures was also around England and French due to Christianity going fanatical around those times (witch huntings, inquisitors, satanic rises, werewolves also around there).

    Hey StrategyOnly, what is this mod all about? I'm curious! It's a blend of fantasy/aliens/sci fi and all that, right? Looks good and interesting!

    Just curious: It's possible to have alien invasions in this mod? (say, you are there doing your thing, and then a alien civilization falls somewhere with advanced guns and such to try and conquer the human race)
