OK, in one of the other topics (NFL 2005 or the Fantasy Football thread) the question was raised if we are going to do another prediction league, just like we did for the past two years? And if we are going to keep score to see what percentage of the games everyone called correctly?

The answer to both questions is yes. :)
And I just volunteered to keep the scores.

Week 1
Oakland at New England
Chicago at Washington
Cincinnati at Cleveland
Denver at Miami
Houston at Buffalo
New Orleans at Carolina
N.Y. Jets at Kansas City
Seattle at Jacksonville
Tampa Bay at Minnesota
Tennessee at Pittsburgh
Arizona at N.Y. Giants
Dallas at San Diego
Green Bay at Detroit
St. Louis at San Francisco
Indianapolis at Baltimore
Philadelphia at Atlanta

So be quick about those prediction, 'cause the season starts tomorrow!

Good luck all! :goodjob:

Oakland at New England 7-27....pats for sure!
Chicago at Washington 14-17....washington will come out, I think.
Cincinnati at Cleveland 20-3....cinci will win
Denver at Miami 17-7....I think Denver will win.
Houston at Buffalo 14-20 tough call!
New Orleans at Carolina 10-24
N.Y. Jets at Kansas City 20-14
Seattle at Jacksonville 27-17
Tampa Bay at Minnesota 14-19
Tennessee at Pittsburgh 20-30
Arizona at N.Y. Giants 14-23
Dallas at San Diego 21-24
Green Bay at Detroit 23-13
St. Louis at San Francisco 20-7
Indianapolis at Baltimore 27-20
Philadelphia at Atlanta 30-24

So, Pats, Washington,Cinci, Denver, Buffalo, Carolina, NYJ, Seattle, Minnesota, Steelers, NYG, San Diego, GB, St. Louis, Colts, and Eagles will win.

Do we get points (for our score) for both guessing correctly the score and who wins?

No scores are needed, just pick the winners... :)

I guess I should set a good example and make my picks right now... :)

We could also do a last man standing if anyone's interested. What you do is pick one team every week to win. Once you've picked a team you can not pick them again the rest of the season. If you lose, you're out. I'll take St. Louis. Should I do this in another thread?.

oakland vs New England

New York Jets vs Kansas City

New England 30-17 The Patriots win again.
Washington 21-17 The Redskins manage to pull off a close one.
Cincinnati 35-7. Are the Browns honestly expecting to do anything with Trent Dilfer at quarterback?
Denver 17-10 Miami needs Ricky like he was 2 years ago.
Houston 20-16 It's David Carr's time to get better.
Carolina 27-10 New Orleanes might not be able to concentrate.
Kansas City 41-20. This is sad because the Jets D/ST is my starters on my fantasy team.
Jacksonville 10-7 The Jags are very underrated.
Minnesota 31-10. The Daunte Culpepper for MVP campaign begins.
Pittsburgh 17-3. Good D and Big Ben is a good combo to have.
Arizona 21-6. The Cardinals will make the playoffs.
Dallas 21-7. I hate to say it but so will the Cowboys.
Green Bay 30-17. No QB for Detroit is bad. (Joey Harrington doesn't count cuz he wont be good.
St. Louis 42-3. In the words of Jay Marrioti, the 49ers will be lucky to pull off 2 wins.
Indianapilos 28-6. Can Peyton Manning repeat last year?
Philadelphia 31-17. The Madden cover curse will end with McNabb.

Yippee. I have been too busy to run one of these things this year. I usually am too lazy to actually keep up with stats for the whole year. Anyway, enough rambling, here's my picks.
