Wow, I would love to have Boston or Pinkston instead of Thrash and Jacobs on the Redskins.

Their available--after the Minnesota game

Some "named" WR's released lately:
David Terrell
David Boston
Todd Pinkston
I wonder if New England is going after 1 or 2 of these guys. They got the cap space and just waived Jonathan Smith, and Branch is currently inactive due to the contract and trade dispute. Crossing my fingers. They aren't awesome but got to be useful at least for a team that has dumped it's top WR's for the last 2 years and now is running out.

Pinkston is worse than anyone the Pats have, Boston obviously isn't even what he was in Miami if he was released by the Bucs (who take in basically everyone, even if they usually release them), and Terrell already got cut once by the Pats didnt he?

Denver cut him but I believe your right and the Pats signed then cut him real early in the pre season

We will just make it up by beating the Redskins back into the Stone Age. ;)

OMG, some seriously poor clock management by the Giants to end their game.

At least we played real teams. :p

I'm bit worried about how difficult Seattle found it too beat the Lions, but i'm confident they'll come good and get to the Superbowl again.

the 'hawks'll be fine ulsterman :) i think it's more a testament to detroit really in that they were able to hang with Seattle. however, the post-Super Bowl blues are an almost unavoidable fact for the SB loser. great to see some NFL fans 'across the pond' too :D

dg - dude - your teams took a double doozy this week as the 'fins blew it and the panthers shat the bed i reckon! and i won't even get into the phightin's :p

As one fine man put it in another thread...... 'the story of my life' :mischief:
as far as sport's teams go.

Don't worry, I saw it. My excitment at the moment of the Dallas loss can be enough for the both of us. The refs cancelled an interception that should have been, but Bledsoe decided to throw another one to make up for it.

There are two teams I root for, the Eagles and whoever is playing the Cowboys.

Unfortunately, your archrival is New York not us. :crazyeye:

I could never understand that.

nice dude  carolina losing like that surprised me. i'm sure they'll bounce back though...as i think they're the best team in the nfc (at least as far as pre-season rankings go). not having s smith hurt them i guess. when's he coming back btw?

He was listed as 'Q' before the game started and he is on my fantasy team
of course--- I figured he would not play. I think he will be back for next game, but you never know about those tweaked hammies. If he can run at
all I would put him out there, even if to just be a decoy.

Jets Win!
49ers Lost...

Thats one win better than I expected them to do.

Double wow  , that's a big time deal. So could you say who is going to be the starting WRs for Seahawks now?
