Nfl 2006

Tony Romo (DAL) was 19/25 for 235 yards and 1 TD; No INT against SEA. He did not rely on Glenn or Witten. He actually had 10 diferent receivers.

Bledsoe did not play nor did TO. I don't recall Henson playing, either.

Crayton was 4 catches for 61 yards and 1 TD. Hurd was 4 for 40. Crayton seems to be back from his injury, while Hurd came out of nowhere in camp.

Rector was 2 for 40 (but against a weaker defense I think).

As for the O-line: Romo was never sacked.

Dallas Pressure: We had 6 sacks.

Edit: Almost forgot, Crayton did get hurt again, but it is not serious this time.

So I have to be make my own predictions now that everybody else is. Check it out:

AFC East : Pats all the way. Miami will not be competing with us this year.
North: Cinci
South: Indy
West: KC
Wildcards: Pittsburgh and Denver

NFC East: NY Giants
North:Chicago
South:Carolina
West:Seattle
Wildcards:Dallas and Arizona(Surprise: One of the best offenses of the league)

Superbowl: Seattle v. Pats(if not the Pats, I like the Colts).

Romo did look good, he's also going to look pretty good warming up that bench this year.

Romo is from D-AA, but he obviously has some talent. If Bledsoe struggles badly for some reason or gets injured, I'm not as worried as I was last year.

The line wasn't run blocking that well, either that or Barber/Thompson/Jones have suddenly become untalented :p

Current Prediction:

AFC
1) IND
2) PIT
3) MIA
4) DEN
5) SD
6) KC

NFC
1) SEA
2) CHI
3) DAL
4) CAR
5) TB
6) NYG

What, they weren't before? :p

198 and 194 rushing games put Jones in 2 of Big D's 5 all time best rushing games. It isn't like Dallas never had good running backs to compete against that, either.

I stand corrected.

But, they aren't as good as Clinton Portis.

Oh, god! First quarter up. Our Defense is great looking. But, our Offense is a little shaky, especially the second team.

Bad News: Bengals up 12-0.

Good News: Portis X-Rays Negative.

His shoulder is seperated. I wonder if he will be 100% for the season. I hate injuries (not matter who receives it).

I want a link, all I've seen is a Negative X-Ray. I'm starting to get really scared.

I heard it on TV, and alot of forums are talking about it (Dallas, Washington, and general). I'll edit, if I find one.

Edit: Now, some are saying dislocated, which sounds more likely.

I see now. One of the mediots said is was seperated, but she was wrong. It is dislocated, because it popped back.

I just checked ExtremeSkins.com, you're right. This sucks. Goodbye playoffs! Any word on how long he'll be out?

BTW, I saw the funniest thing there, at least to me.

My wife just asked me when NBC and Carson Palmer started dating.

It doesn't sound VERY serious...

but even worse, Kerry Karter your backup just blew out his knee. It looked like that anyway. Is Betts your third stringer now?

No, Betts should be #2.

AFC
East: New England
North: Cincinnati
South: Indianapolis
West: Denver
Wildcards: Miami and Jacksonville

NFC
East: Philadelphia
North: Chicago
South: Carolina
West: Seattle
Wildcards: St. Louis and New Orleans?

Here's what I liked and disliked on Sunday's game against the Bengals:

Liked
NBC's All-Star Commentating Team (Madden/Michaels/Collinsworth/Costas/King/Bettis)
Brandon Lloyd
Starting Defense
Jason Cambell

Disliked
Clinton Portis getting injured on a meaningless game after a bad throw-away by Brunell
The lover relationship with NBC and Carson Palmer's injury
Chris Cooley's hair
Todd Collins, 9 years under Saunders produced that!

Meh, could be worse. Justin Beriault, sixth round pick of the Cowboys last year, retired after continuous knee problems...no one had ever comeback from the type of knee surgery he had had either.

Here are my impression of ESPN's MNF:

Liked
-Kornheiser suprisingly
-Mike Tirico
-Travaris Jackson, second round QB out of Alabama State
-Suzy Kolber ;)

Disliked
-JOE THEISMANN!!!
-Minnesota Vikings new uniform...
-Oakland's offensive line
-the location of the scoreboard...what the hell ESPN?

Agreed with all of the above but I would switch the scoreboard and Kolber.

Kornheiser was very nervous in the beginning, you could tell by the way he jumped into speaking, but he did fine.
