It's kind of head-scratching how unable (unwilling?) Pittsburgh was to change up their defense and actually start defending the pass, once Tebow established that he could actually take what they would give him.
For all their sores, e.g., one of the worst defenses in the league, the Patriots are very good at adapting and improving in the second half. (To the point of it being a little maddening watching them suck in the first half and then magically turn it on in the second.) In fact in that regular season game vs. Denver, Denver looked pretty good at the beginning, basically dominating the Patriots and making their run defense look inept in the first quarter. But then the Pats put the hammer down later thanks to a few costly turnovers. I don't think the Pats will repeat the stomping the second time around but I am also confident the Pats will not suffer the same pig headedness (that's really the best way I can put it) of the Steeler's coaching staff in refusing to adapt their schemes to match whichever Tebow shows up Sunday. However I also don't think the Pats have the personnel to put up a great defensive showing so ultimately the deciding factor is whether the Broncos D can stop Brady--which seems to be every team's question this year if dealing with the Pats.
Also Pats hired Josh McDaniels back, he should help save some time dealing in depth with the Denver scouting report...
