NFL Playoffs

The Broncos have gotten this far based on their defense. What's one more game?

I don't think I really credit the D that much for the Pitt win. They made a key stop on the last drive of the 4th, but they where at best so-so for the rest of the game. Tebow carried that game(which was probably only the 2nd time he did in all this starts).

Blasphemer!

They have? They're ranked 20th in the league and they got smoked pretty bad last time around. They seemed totally incapable of stopping the Pats tight-ends. Yeah the Broncos have great corners, but the Pats passing game goes all over the field.

Of course the more I talk the more likely I am to eat crow on this one.

I'd tend to agree. The Broncos' defense hasn't carried the team... but then, neither has Tim Tebow. What has carried the team is a weak schedule and a weak division which allowed them to back into the playoffs with an 8-8 record and one win over a winning team (the 9-7 Bengals... with Kyle Orton under center).

Of course, credit where credit's due, Tebow played a very good game against Hobbledsberger and the Steelers.

New Orleans @ San Francisco
New York @ Green Bay
Houston @ Baltimore
Tebow @ Darth Hoodie

Let's see if I can do better than one out of four this time...

The Big Easy vs Silicon Valley

Cheeseheads Incorporated vs Home of the 1%

Carrion eating birds vs The most uncreative name a football team from Texas could have

God's Will vs The Forces of Darkness

If Tebow beats the Patriots it will pretty much be proving that good triumphs over evil.

I will be rooting for the Pats from the comfort of my human skin sofa nestled in my dark, damp Satanic chamber, evilly drinking the blood of my enemies from a human skull. Oh and I'll have some chips and dip too probably.

You're gravely mistaken, dark Sith lord, as is your master Darth Sidious Coach Belichick.

Scary stuff (especially when it says "If Tim Tebow and Michele Bachmann got married, their child would look identical to Justin Bieber.").

By the way, you need to install ABP. :yup:

That would be like Jesus Marrying Satan, wouldn't it? Don't see it happening.

While I don't expect the Broncos to win, if we're throwing out those stats it's worth pointing out that the AFC East wasn't exactly stellar this year either, and the Patriots have zero wins over a winning team.

Of course, I didn't really expect the Broncos to win against the Steelers, either...
