Leader: Tsar Ivan I Vǔlkov

Claims:
Leading Party: Военна Лига/Voenna Liga/Military League: The Voenna Liga was initially a loose political coalition formed in 1906 of young Bulgarian army officers who sought to curb reform that would grant the provinces and the Sǔbranie greater power over the central administration in Sofia, as well as to revitalize the declining military influence of Bulgaria both over its internal affairs as well as over the rest of the Balkans. A defeat against Serbia and Greece in the 1910 Macedonian War under Tsar Ferdinand I, which led to the cession of Bulgaria's Aegean territories, as well as all claims to Macedonia, provoked a full-out revolt by much of the Bulgarian Army, seizing Stara Zagora, Tarnovo, Varna, Burgas, and its newly crowned capital in Plovdiv within a week. Two months into the rebellion, Sofia was captured, the Tsar was locked up and sentenced to death for betrayal of the Bulgarian peoples, and leader of the Voenna Liga, General Ivan Vǔlkov was crowned Tsar in Tarnovo, Sofia, and then Plovdiv.
Other Parties:

/Vatreshna Makedonska Revolyutsionna Organizatsiya (VMRO)/Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO): The VMRO, initially a Bulgarian-supported Macedonian revolutionary organization operating within the bounds of the Ottoman Empire and Greece, was transformed into a super nationalistic political party after the Bulgarian annexation of the Greater Macedonian region. In a tenuous partnership the Voenna Liga after the 1910 coup, but upon the annexation of Macedonia proper, the VMRO has drifted farther from the Liga. Still maintains its revolutionary values, and is accused by Zveno of having Communist ties.
-Демократичен Сговор/Demokratichen Sgovor/Democratic Alliance: Democrats who think they're influential. Still active because the Voenna Liga cannot destroy them without suffering massive internal shock and backlash.

History:
Being led by a German Prince or Tsar for much of its existence, the rise to power of a Bulgarian Tsar was a welcome relief for much of the Bulgarian peoples. After the 1911 coronation of Tsar Ivan, the Bulgarian army nearly tripled in size, growing rapidly until the eve of the Great War. In this conflict, the new Plovdiv administration found itself pitted against massive odds consisting of a series of historical enemies Bulgaria had fought against previously. Romania, Serbia, Greece, and the Ottoman Empire found themselves attacking Bulgaria, whose nearest ally was a faltering Hungary. Fighting almost all of its neighbors with it's grossly oversized, vastly superior army, the Bulgarians first destroyed the Serbian army at Prizren, annexing much of southern Serbia, while a smaller force overcame the Romanians in Dobrudzha and Bucharest, the Romanians signing a treaty ceding the remainder of Dobrudzha to Bulgaria for fear of further Magyar incursions on weakened Transylvania. Following this, Bulgaria was able to, by 1916, occupy the entirety of Mainland Greece, as well as the Ottoman capital of Kostantiniyye
