Ruling Party: The Vanguards

Robert Piast led the Vanguards in establishing order in eastern europe after The Great War. The Vanguards are devoted to Order and economic prosperity, adopting US and western economic ideals to attract investors. They are polish based, meaning everyone outside poland has a slight resentment especially if Robert used force in order to assert his 'protection' over the lands. However most went quietly because of the growing threat of the USSR. They allow more or less autonomy in most regions unless they give trouble, and attempt to rule benevolently. However the growing city of Piast, named after Roberts old and ancient dynasty, grows by the day in competition with Krakow which is the traditional seat of the Piasts. Robert is currently trying to hold together his huge Republic by sheer force of will while delivering on his promise to bring prosperity to its lands.

The Phoenix Party

The Pheonix Party wishes to assert tighter control over the entire country and allow less autonomy and democracy. This is relatively unpopular outside of poland though.

The Hellfire Party

The Hellfire Party wishes to attack the USSR in a pre emptive strike. They also wish to expand via other means in order to further enrich Poland by conquest.

The Conservative and Unionist Party was born out of the union between the Conservative and Unionist Party in Britain and the Conservative Party of Canada, Known as the Conservative party for short the, C&U party consists of the majority of Canadians and Quebecois citizens on the center and middle right, their major concern right now is to establish order and secure His Majesties government over Canada, many seek to reclaim Cascadia from Deseret. Some still seek to reclaim the British Isles for His Majesties government, even though the King is still technicality king over Great Britain and Ireland.

Liberal Party

The Liberal Party seeks the best way to establish order in Canada and Quebec is to give people more freedoms and have the government stay out of lives of the average citizen unless it is dire. They are a center-mid left party They seek to lesser the power of the parliament and seek to reform the government of Canada to one of a more free and egalitarian system. Many see Deseret as the biggest threat to Canada, and many seek to leave Britain to its own affairs, and focus on Canada and Deseret.

Labour Party

The Labour party are represented by all sides of the Far left, Containing Social Democrats, Militant Socialists, Marxists, Leninists, and more, the majority of the Labour party seek to establish a Social Democracy. Some would like to see the King ousted completely, while others just want to limit his power even more than his current status. For the most part they utterly despise the British Union and other fascists, as well as Deseret, however they do not seek war now and would favor establishing order in Canada.

The Canadian Norsefire are the same as the British Norsefire, they closer ties to Britain and see the British Union as friendly. However, they also seek to reclaim former Canadian land in Cascadia

Joining as a rebel group in Deseret: The Golden 49.

"The Golden Land for the Golden People."

Based primarily in California, the Golden 49 reject the Mormon church and the dictatorship it brought upon the free Americans in the west, and therefore its main goal is to kick the Desereters back into the desert in which they came. Understanding that any state will bring its own tyranny in the region, the best state would therefore be no state; a free commune of farmers, miners, and factory workers funded by the abundant gold and silver within California will best serve the interests of the common Californian man and woman.

The group is often identified with their obsession over the number 7 which, when squared, becomes 49. While 49 (standing as an abbreviation for 1849) is an important number in itself to Californian history, it is unknown to all but the highest rings of the organization whether there is a literal "Golden 49" that makes up the organization, and in what capacity. From what is known to the Desereters, it is doubtful it refers to a group of 49 people, but may in fact be an implication of 49 different cells within the organization.

One of the few things publicly known is that the leader of the organization publicly identifies as "Seven-Squared". While Seven-Squared wears some form of identity-concealing garments in public, the rebel leader is shockingly a woman; the respect she has within her organization transcends traditional gender roles of 1924. (Not that the Californian culture emerging from the Gold Rush wasn't more egalitarian due to necessity).

Alright, so the idea I had is that Manifest Destiny works differently in this time line than it did OTL. American ex-pats still went west, but the American government did not follow suit, either preferring to or being forced by some entity from expanding past the Mississippi (Perhaps a third British-American war that the British won?). This would result in Mexico holding onto their northern territories longer, and allow Canada to claim all of Cascadia for itself. The reasons for going west would also be similar, with most heading for California for gold and Cascadia for farmland. Mormons would still settle the Salt Lake region, setting up their theocratic state (although, as Terran notes, their ideology seems radically different in this timeline). As Mexico's power wanes, these American ex-pat states start to rebel, setting up various different governments in the region. Eventually, Deseret will go full crusade mode and start eating up all of these states, trying to forcefully convert as many "heretics" as possible. California, most likely having the largest population of all the post-Mexican states due to the Gold Rush, already started developing their own cultural identity before Deseret annexed them, which made more resistant to the forced cultural/religious assimilation than other regions. Also, at some point Deseret and Canada go to war, which ends with Canada ceding all of Cascadia.

Adding NPCs is a more involved process than expected, so everybody lucked out and will have more time to work on sign-ups than expected, as well as join. Remember to divide up your factories into public and private, as well as detail your parties and your controlled party (the ruling party in most cases).

You should also set a starting tax rate, tariffs, and maybe license fees if you don't feel like having foreigners invest so much.
