I thought JFD was making the Teutonic Knights.

So, could anyone find me a good base map of Richard the Lionheart's holdings?

I was working on a Richard Lionheart design a while back. Do you have a definitive one yet?

Even if both JFD and Nix fail to find different names for unique abilities and units, the only thing that matters here is that the unique's effects (Not names) are different. To claim that it would even be hard to come up with two different designs for any civ is laughable.

You can probably find a couple of names for unique units in Total War's Teutonic campaign.

Well Nathan, I don't know about that.. So far I've been working with three different designs, two of which had a UU and a UB, and one with two UUs.
So, even when it comes to small (in the Freetown Christiania case, micro) civilisations, one can go very different ways with the design and provide players with very different party styles.
But yeah, I do get your point

Come on. This is one of the most annoying and presumptuous responses to this sort of thing. ZH wasn't necessarily suggesting that Nix couldn't do the Teutonic Knights because I was. He was merely giving him that information, in case it was something he hadn't considered, and in case having considered it it would influence his decision to do the Teutonic Knights. Nix's perfectly entitled to not do the Teutonic Knights by this reason just as much as he is entitled to do them. And Nix doesn't seem the kind of person that needs another person to tell him what's common practice here.

I haven't finalised the design for any of these though, maybe aside from Great Moravia, which will be more of a GE mod than it will be mine, in all honesty.

JFD might be planning the Teutonic Knights, I haven't heard of anything along the lines. EDIT: That is correct, JFD, I would prefer to make a completely new civ, but I wouldn't mind making a civ that has already been done. There ain't nobody who can stop me!

Anyway, I'll just make a bunch of maps and icons now because I love making them and maybe eventually finish a civ or two.

In all seriousness though, I'm too caught up with school at the moment to do anything more than designs and art. During the holidays, I will be able to do more, and I hope I will.
