****!!!****!!!!****!!!!**** GAME FULL ****!!!!****!!!!****!!!!****

Looking for six players who want to live in the future!

My plan is to make a PBEM game that will save you two years of your life.

Here is what I propose

Map: Archipelago
Size: Huge
Climate: Temperate
Sea Level: Meduim
Era: Industrial
Speed: Quick
Landmass: Archipelago
Level: Nobel

The game will start in 1220 AD, each tribe starts with…

3 Settlers
3 Rifleman
2 Explorers
2 workers
All the technologies leading up to the Industrial Age.

and

When you start your first three cities they automaticaly generate a half dozen essintial buildings.

No more playing for three months until interesting things start happening! In this game you got a bunch a sh*t to do each turn from the get go! I will have 14 tribes, my plan is 6 human and 8 AI.

I figure this will take a few years to complete at one turn every two or three days so think about that before you sign up. Of course if we get into a rhythm and get to take one turn each day, that would be perfect. My additude towards people finding themsleves unable to play durring vacations and other such things is lenient as long as you use this thread to notify everyone of your blackout dates. Any one who drops out for an extended period of time without warning will be replaced.

If you think this is interesting please post your top 3 civ choices in order of preference, your GMT, your physical location, and what time of day you can usualy play (Mine is in the morning around GMT 16 and in the evening around GMT 4). Then PM me all that info plus your password, and your e-mail address.

Thanks, I look forward to seeing you in the fake world of the future!

I'm up for this one ... you already have my details.

I like the idea of Industrial starting point ... I have thought about starting something similar myself.

Might I make a suggestion ... the beauty of your other game is with 2 civs per player, 4 players makes for a very fast turnaround game which you will probably not get with 6 players. How about going with 4 players, 2 civs each, and 6 AI ? Just a suggestion.

If you stick with 1 civ each, I'll take Lizzie of the English. If you go with 2 civs, I'll also take Bissy of the Germans.

This one sounds interesting, I'm in! I like Dazz-G idea of 4 human players. I want to be Roosevelt of the Americans. If you do go with 2 civs each, then add Washington of the Americans as my second civ. My e-mail is greeneg AT charter.net I live in Alabama/Georgia which is GMT-7 and GMT-6, but I play at just about any and every hour of the day so it doesn't matter where I am in the rotation.

Why the heck not. Though the remaing civs don't leave much for unique Units.

Here are my prefs (if 1 civ each, will change if go with 2):
Cathy
Freddy
Kubla Khan
Mansa Musa

I believe you have my info already.

Hmmmm, I really wanted to have more than four people and I didn't realize that the two civ thing would be so popular. What about a comprimse. What would you guys think of 5 humans, each with two civs, and the rest AI. That would make like 8 AI i think.

That sounds good to me.

Well ok then, I'll give it a few days to see if our mysterious 5th shows up. If not then we proceed with four.

jbieksha, What civ's do you want?

Are you looking for another human? Location is NY (GMT - 5). I'd be happy with random civs. Are these two civs a team or totally independent?

Ok we are all in,

Ruff hi, you can play your civs however you choose, what time of day do you play?

Everyone PM me the email address you want me to use and the password you want.

Here is the order right now as I see it.

Tim Ford
Dazz G
Dog Boy
Ruff Hi
jbieksha

If this is fine with everyone once I have your info I will start the game.

usually play between 8pm and 11pm. I meant are the two civs going to be set up as a team.

FYI - I am in the same time zone as ruff_hi, and play around the same time. So turns between us may be delayed by a day.

For example: ruff_hi plays at 9:30, and I have signed off, I will not play until the following day.

Not complaining. I don't readily see a solution to speed it up. Just letting yo all know.

jbieksha,

damn you! damn you! and ruff_hi!

Well I guess we will all have to live with it.

Ruff to answer your question, no you will not be set up as a team, but you can do that later.

Well, I suppose I could move!

Ok, well, once my civs have a trade route set up, it will be better than a team - no additional tech cost.

Played and sent.

The English have started on an island of just 16 tiles and they have been gifted 2 explorers :crazyeye: Where I am going to put 3 settlers is anybodies guess but 2 explorers ... if only they could swim.
