NukeNES02: 1890 Alternate History

awnser all the questions

@Silver, Militia can be anywere in your empire, but they aren't as powerful. They are kind of like Peasants taken off their homes to defend their country.

@BTM, Artilery comes with each Infantry division

@knigh+ 1) 4 (0) means you have 4 eco to spend this turn, while 5 (1) means you have 5 eco to spend, plus 1 that was saved from last turn.
2) You just invest in cities
3) When you have higher infrastructure, it takes less eco to make cities

@Abaddon, Chinas army is horrible, but they have the highest pop, so they have more troops

@Sheep, silver, welcome :)

Alt Hist:
It is 1890, the Dawn of a New Age. Britains colonial empire is the largest in the world, but it appears in rapid decline. Germany is united under one ruler, and occupies Poland and Italy and Russia has defeated the Ottoman empire. Syria, Irauq, and Persia all fight for power in the Middle East. China is unified under the Pong Dynasty, and Japan has recently captured Korea after a series of wars with Russia, and looks to Indonesia and Australia for expansion. The USA has finished a war with Spain, conquering The Philipines, and The Bahamas. Canada has finally conquered Iceland, and Antartica. The U.S.A.R. (United South American Republic) is the first country to adopt communism. Africa is divided up among the Europeans.

The stage is set for war, and the emergence of new empires and the destruction of old ones.

1- Is this referring to cities that currently don't appear in the map?
2- Does each city give 1 eco, or larger ones can give multiple eco?
3- Please elaborate the distinction of "good cities...others...others...and some" regarding economic growth.
4- For this growth of cities, are we supposed to invest on a city that is not on the map, while justifying its growth (it is big, has port, is on trade routes, etc.etc)? Or can we only invest in cities that appear on the map?
5- Can we know how much will it cost from beforehand (by asking you via PM)?

cant see any spoilers...

maps should always be spoilered also otherwise it distorts the thread...

Also do we name our own Heads of State?

I hate the color scheme of the map. Please use this map, its easier on the eyes. And the color scheme is somewhat more traditional.

Spoiler :
Evil.png

Though I think Italy is too bright, and and Israel. Maybe Austria should have a better color but I'm not sure what. At any rate this should do for now. Their colors also seem a bit too similar with Britian's...hmm....

*I suppose I'll start some diplomacy*

To China
From Vietnam

Greetings to our neighbors to the north. The Republic wishes to improve realations between our two nations and offers to you trade rights. Ivory is in high stock in the Vietnamese Republic, perha[s theirs something you would like to offer?

@BtM... what happened to your NES?

@BtM... what happened to your NES?

Im thinking of completly scrapping it or changing it. I believe the idea of building an empire from 1 small eco center is a slow process that doesn't appeal to many players. I'm gonna try and reform the whole thing.

I would work, just need to start in a small fantasy map...

Silver, I'll change the map in a little bit
1- Is this referring to cities that currently don't appear in the map? Yes
2- Does each city give 1 eco, or larger ones can give multiple eco? no, 1 eco per city3- Please elaborate the distinction of "good cities...others...others...and some" regarding economic growth. Good cities have high pop, and are on trade routes, like on major water routes, rail roads, or roads4- For this growth of cities, are we supposed to invest on a city that is not on the map, while justifying its growth (it is big, has port, is on trade routes, etc.etc)? Yes
5- Can we know how much will it cost from beforehand (by asking you via PM)? Yes

@Germanicus, you make up your head of states
