Order is as above. Due mainly to time zones and wanting to move as few civs as possible to avoid problems

What about razing cities?
I don't see why not as we are all barbarians
What about abandoning cities? I'd vote that it would be OK as we might have to in the face of Roman supperiority at the begining.
KS suggests no dip with AI for 1st 5 turns. I'd go along with that unless they contact you. i.e. no initiating deals with AI for 5 turns.
Any other thoughts?

Thanks for clarifying that (DIP). I hadn't a chance to respond to it yet. I haven't played this scenario before - wouldn't abandoning your own city count as one of the eight toward elimination against you? Anyhow, looking forward to playing with y'all again. Please to meet you Hawklord. Enough prattling along. I think there's a save in my in box.

I presume by no initiating deals with the AI includes straight up tech buys and such? That's my take for now. Spying, er, research is fair game though, right? (checking out their techs, etc)

Anyhow, the Celtic barbarian clan starts out in some cute hilly terrain in the far north west. Some dastardly Romans seem to be nearby. Oh, and we have cute little sailing boats from which to splash the Roman women.

Ah, I've always wanted to be a Vandal. I was just way too nice as a teenager I guess.

Founded a few cities and sent some warriors out to scout around. All quiet out there so far...

Sent to King Stuart. Quiet so far. But we Vandals have just got to do something about our civ's uniforms. They're sky blue!!! We're Vandals, we can't have a soothing, peaceful color like that! That's like what they paint psych wards to keep people from getting violent. I'll take it up with the league office and try to get something meaner-looking.

Met an Eastern Roman horseman on my road to nowhere. We passed him by peacefully. These Romans demand far too much for trade.
