Offical 2006 Civfanatics Fantasy Hockey League

Yowza! I made tons of points tonight !

I'd like to say thank you to my wife and kids who supported me through all this and to the Buffalo Sabers  I love you guys!.

:p

wow, fred had quite a run last night, up to third place

and most of it because he got lots of penalties  so getting penalties is actually a good thing? and I dropped my main penalty generator

@Raisin: I bet you never expected to ever say something like "watch out switzerland" when it comes to hockey :p

The Sabres (Afin 1G/4A and Drury) were a big help too :goodjob: . And of
course the Flyers  .

You would think that eventually my players would all start having good nights and score alot of points, but they seem to enjoy taking turns doing that. :p

Oh well, at least I get Malkin back tonight. :yeah:

I sure have heard a ton of stuff about his injury and other info, but I know nothing of him  . Could you give me a player analysis, in your
opinion ( ;) ) of this guy? :scan:

Malkin was considered to be the best player in the world not playing in the NHL last year. He got something like 47 points in 46 games in the Russian Superleague, which doesn't soiund impressive compared to the NHL, but the Russian Superleague is harder to score in. And at the Olympics, he had 6 points (2G 4A) in 7 games, against NHL level players.

Dang  , sounds like a beast :king: of a player. Thanks Subi.

Man I tought that with yesterday's goals galore I would go up in the standings but I only got a measly 1.5 + points added and lost a spot to Fred's freaks.

 He has 1 PIM more than me. But im still leading in assists! :D

I'm hoping so. That is the only reason I've held on to him all this time.

Oh look, Fred just made his daily purge. :mischief:

I sort of have the same attitude towards Redden. I really don't want to drop him, but he has been far from impressive. 0P, -2...
