So, today the reading callback lists for my school play came out. Guess who isn't in it.

NOT ME! Oh yeah, I got called back alright. It isn't the role I wanted, but I'm okay with it, and I'm almost certain I can beat out other the guy who was called back.

Well it's a miracle! We restored my computer to factory settings and it works again

On another note, I put my Civ 4 Complete disc into my computer and nothing is happening? How fix

Well if it's 3.19 you shouldn't need the cd.

The cool thing about returning to factory settings is that you don't have civ 4 installed anymore

Speaking of which, the cd does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when I insert it into laptop

Went into Computer and clicked D: drive. Says no disc or cd has been inserted???

Oh I see what you mean by factory settings now. Hmmm... What if you regardless click the cd drive icon?

The D: drive. My bad. I couldn't think of the name at the moment.

It finally recognizes that the Civ4Comp disc is in there, but when I try to click to install the contents I get this

Edit: And now it is saying application not found

Wow your computer must hate Civ 4 It might be looking for an installation app that was lost when you returned it to factory settings. Maybe the installwizard or adobe or flash or whatever was lost.

The frustrating part is that somehow my saves all made it through. If I could just download the stinking game I could continue my stories.

Damn... I don't know what else to say except keep trying... What you could do, actually, is if you could use someone else's computer and someone else's external hard drive you could install Civ on their computer, then transfer the game onto the external hard drive, then plug in the external hard drive to your computer, and just copy and paste the whole Firaxis file into Program Files in the C: Drive

So I got the installation start here, and I get this when I try to hit install

Now, it says "Windows cannot find 'setup.exe'". Help

Btw I have an ASUS

Hey there I am! I would just say keep trying it. The computer might be slowly recognizing what it needs to do.
