Make sure you did it in the Beyond the Sword mods folder

Okay before you go into DOC, maybe get another mod to see if it isn't the mod that's the problem. Also, what went wrong with it?

The computer says I have no app that can open the file

How are you trying to open it? Are you going the long way?

I tried from public maps and that happens. From the game nothing happens at all

Hm, that's very very strange. Try a different mod. Also, try redownloading it, maybe the file got corrupted somewhere in the exchange.

If that happens the Minecraft modded community is more than sufficient to keep me occupied for years. That plus Unturned and Steam sales.

Processor: Intel G3258 (3.2 GHz, Dual Core)
RAM: 8GB (ADATA XPG V1 DDR3 2x4)
Motherboard: MSI H97M-E35 MATX
Video Card: MSI AMD Radeon R9 270X (2GB)
This should run MC Civ and most other games pretty well. I would have liked to have gotten 3GB for the graphics card but it was either that or the monitor
