Well, I played 3 turns last night and a quick rundown.

We are 6 turns from Synth Fibers and we are at war with Rome and Greece(1turn in the war) Babylon is our ally in theses wars.

IBT war movements of everyone else continues

1. 1700AD Just start moving military units around, nothing much here.

IBT Roman Infantry units are in our area, looks like they are headded towards some undefended cities.
America and Greece sign MA against Russia

2. 1705AD I tell rome to leave and they do(I doubt that will change my attitude)
I try to plant a spy in Greece and they catch and kill him and Declare war on us.
I immediately approach Babylon and ask them for an MA against Greece and an MA against Rome and we give them Radio. The war is on!
Take Pompeii and Raze it.

IBT America signs MA with Greece against us.
Greece sinks 1 of our Battleships and start bombing our lands in the russian area and Korean lands.

3. 1710AD Ecology researched go for Synthetic Fibers.
Raze another Roman city.
Start Bomobarding Geek ships with Artillary and trying to keep Greece out of old Korea till more units arrive.

IBT Russia and rome sign peace.
Greece bombs old Korea near the Ivory. we sink 2 greek battleships. Babylon bombers attack greece. Babylon takes Ereen.

4. 1715AD Cut off rubber in greece with artillary and bombers.
3 elites win in Rome, take Rome and keep city.
Raze 2 Greek cities on the island that use to be Russia's cities.
Sink 2 destroyers and lose a destroyer and Ironclad.
WW kicks in.

IBT Rome and Mongols sign peace. Ottomans and America and the Mongols sign trade embargos against us.
Greek bombers continue to hit old Korea.

5. U.N. vote pops up
Lose elite knight, Elite tank wins, Cumae razed. Veii Razed. Romans won't talk yet.
Start bombarding main greek coast with battleships, Greek Destroyer and Ironclad sunk(all of these ships are sunk next to old Russian lands, big ship graveyard)

I will play tyhe rest of these turns when I get home today.

Overall culture is 74413 at 662 pt 38.65 turns till 100000.
Pasargadae is at 15525 at 123 pt and 36.38 turns till 20000

our current score is 5053

Oh BTW, do you guys think we should remain in Democracy or switch?

I wouldn't switch. It'll put back the finish date. I would just take peace when second level kicks in personally.

And even though democracy is bad for war, it's too late in the game for us to bother with a switch.

on another note, I forgot to mention that I have lots of troops and a settler to plant a kill city between there 3 biggest cities(Greece) 1 turn inside there borders, 2 more would be ideal, but I may have to plant 2 cities.

6. 1725AD Build New Gordium just inside Greece. Sink greek Ironclad, Battleship and transport. Sign peace with Rome.

IBT we lose 2 destroyers, a Sub and a transport.

7. 1730AD Sink 2 greek Battleships, a destroyer and a transport., lose ironclad. New Bactra founded further inside Greece.
sign peace treaty with Greece for there WM and 15 gold.

IBT Ottomans and Greece sign MA against Babylon.

8. 1735AD Synth Fibers researched, research Rocketry(we neeed aluminum for Modern Armour) full 4 turn research at deficit.

Troops and ships on the way top America(we are still at war with them.

9. 1740AD just amassing troops in Greece and sending to America.

IBT Russia and Ottomans sign Peace.

10. 1745AD Troops are in Buto, Mass troops near greek big cities.
Troops land in America(1 transport worth).
There is an Airfielsd near Sparta with 14 Bombers a fighter and 4 Mech Infants.

30 units just landed in old Korea, there are 50 units next to Greek Capitol.
Troops are healing in Ninus

2 turns from Rocketry and we do have Barracks in old Korea if you can/want to upgrade.
Cukture Overall is 77739 at 664 pt 33.5 turns from winning
Pasargadae is at 16140 at 123 pt and 31.4 turns from winning and Cure for Cancer is I think 4 turns(maybe 2 or 3??)

Mad-bax, it's understandable if the recent slow pace of this game (for which we're all somewhat responsible) has confused you, but in fact I'm up, not you.

Fortunately, I've hardly begun my turns, so if you don't see this until you've finished your round, no problem; we'll just swap. If you do see it soon, just let me know, and I'll play my turns as planned.

A very fair question, OFW. I haven't had time recently for the long, unbroken sessions this game really requires, but I've been having a lot of fun.

Here's an interim report in pictures. I'm finished making war, apart perhaps from some minor bullying of the Americans, so I should be able to complete my round without much more delay.

This is the situation after one turn of our Modern Armour offensive against the Greek homeland. We could easily have taken Herakleia and Kish too, for the clean sweep, if not for other priorities (preserving Wonders, Leader-fishing).

Wow, That's devastating !!

It looks like we could be at owning the The land needed for domination , or very close, gotta be careful not to trigger the wrong victory now. Glad you are having fun!

If we go to any more wars we may just want to raze the cities and just defend angainst settlers and barbs.
