One word to both of you: fantastic! Raijer, getting warm is an understatement. Lyonesse, the middle pic is so expressive. Dunno what to ask next, really love Lyonesse's flare combined with Raijers last pic. And as Raijer said it does very well lend itself to a beam-effect!

Here's one using Lyonesse's cool flared crescent...

ummmm yep, I knew it was something really simple LOL Its always the "simple" stuff I forget how to do for some reason wierd I know.

BTW, do you use any "plug-ins"? just curious...

also....need to gather some of these you are doing into one post so I can link it to the first post!

Hey, do you guys want to take a crack at my avatar. Just make it look cooler. The only thing that im attached to is the flowing energy. Feel free to tweak anything including color, red would be cool.

I wanted to keep the same avatar but change the colors or somthing.

Somthing like this. I just inverted the colors. Thanks

Very cool thanks. I just had a thought, what about flames in the backround? If it looks like it can fit that would be awesome.

That is awesome. Do you think that you could keep the middle one only make the flame more intense and not as long, if you get what I mean. As it is now you are bordering on perfection, do you dare to cross the line:).

Nah, nevermind doesn't work out like I had hoped. Could you just keep the foreground and make the backround transparent also can I get one in green. Sorry for all the nitpicking. Thanks again.

What I would like is the SETI wonder splash, but modified so that it looks like some kind of particle beam weapon -- complete with a beam shooting up from the middle of the radar dish to the sky. Maybe with particle beams coming from the supports and merging with the main beam, maybe not. Probably should do some with various beam colours, too -- like yellow, green, and cyan. Just something to change its appearance from a peaceful radio telescope into a Massive Weapon of Mass Death², Doom³, and Destruction¹². (And, of course, down to the appropriate size.)

Well, here's my shot at it. I'll be honest with you though, I think you've got a pretty cool avatar already!;)

V2010, I am shocked and ashmaed in you. You should know enough about computers, and graphics to be able to make your own Avatar. I mean, look at mine. Sheesh, Shocked and Ashamed . . .

Sweet!!!

I change avatars frequently, so when I get tired of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy planet, I will probably switch to this Telescope of Doom!

RealGoober, just because I'm good with computers doesn't mean I'm good with creating good-looking graphics.

Ya, well, [insert good response here]

I played with it a bit... pulled out some details that didn't translate to the smaller size. I think it might be a little better....
