What did I do wrong that the edges are not smooth?

I like the third one of yours best.

I have no idea.... LOL ... lots of help aren't I. I just took the image into Photoshop and deleted the background <shrug> Sometimes I get the "jagged" edges too. Raijer (leave it to the pro once again) could probably shed more light onto the topic

Ah Ha - I am assuming to dither is not to waste time. I remember seeing something about that is photoshop, but I did not know what it was.

This is new to me but interesting in what you can do. I shall give it another try. Wish me luck (better luck)

It doesn't take much time to edit a Perfection avatar either,in about 1 minute you can make a really cool one.I never realized what fun it is to edit souped up pentagons!

well, all i did was make the colors more contrating but people here can do great work with shields, wait for them, but here's a shot or two.

What is improtant to you on this? Is it the colors? Is it the Horse? Is it the Shield and the Horse? Or is this a specific emblem that you like?
