Usually savegames are not compatible with new versions.

I'm sorry, I don't have a backup of v.27 or v.28. Are you sure it's not a more recent version ? (On the load menu, you can check the mod version used by a savegame by selecting it.)

I've version 32 to 35 in backup if needed.

Hi Again,

I'm still getting a crash in my games somewhere around turn 30. Usually it was during Britain's process but this time Italy's. The last thing the log said was something about Italy attacking Alexandria, and their bomber damage. So I used IGE to delete the bomber but still got the crash. So if it's not much trouble, I've got the log and save, perhaps you won't get the crash! EDIT: I'm playing with version 36

i tried the v. 30 version, the game was loaded but it crashes when it's turn of americans.
i think i have to try v. 29...or what else?

I can't help to solve bug on a 5 months old version, there have been to much change in the code since, sorry.
 
If your savegame needs v.30 and v.30 crashes with it, older versions won't help.
 
32GB and the game complains ? :D

Civ is a 32 bits application, it never takes more than around 2GB on my system, and on that map...

You've tried to reload to see if it happens again at that turn ?

Unfortunately, no. I jumped directly to v.36. No crashes so far as either Germany or Russia for the Stalingrad scenario. There is a new glitch however: the score counter for turns controlling Stalingrad has not worked in either v.36 game...

Playing Germany in Europe 1939 when my ships have the logistics upgrade on their first attack they are getting an extra volley after the defending ship gets theirs. Curiously the second attack doesn't have the same effect.

Actually I like this bug :D

Maybe the promotion is overpowered with it, but I'm not sure that I want to correct it.

It seems open cities do not regenerate health once taken. I noticed this in Paris and the northern Norway cities.
 
Might just be my computer, but does anyone know why the scripts crash the game on Europe 1939-1942? I got all the way to Paris quickly just to have the game crash and no way to go back in to disable it, forcing me to restart :<
 
I'm playing with the last version, 1936 map hotseat (Germany/Italy/Japan), and the game just crashes at the begining of every turn. And I mean, every civ I have to play with. I just load the autosave again, and it works, but then, it crashes again when I'm about to play the next civ.

does hotseat works on stable maps ?
 
I tried on 1936 Europe (Germany/Italy). Same bug. =/
On previous versions, I used to play hotseat on big maps without any problem.
 
Hi Gedemon,
The Stalingrad scenario crashes at the beginning of the second turn for me. I've attached the Lua.log file as it looks like it might contain something useful; namely a runtime error statement right after it has an update map statement. It crashes after this happens the second time.

thanks all, I will try a hotseat game ASAP to see what's wrong. Time to make sure the events based on the active player are not fired multiple times each turn when using MP...
