OK, I still haven't delved into the world of palettes. This animation was simple enough in colors to use the palette I used for the bulldozer. I've checked the file in game and everything should work OK.

In game:

And here's the file.

Looks very Good Gary...I like the Bounce during the Attack :goodjob:

I sent you a Civ Specific Colored units_32 and also added the transparent colors to the palettes for the Large and Small pcx files so they will show correctly in the game.

Very good and usefull unit. The hoping and moving forward during the attack looks quite good.

Right on!

Very nice, but if I see it correctly, the hop from the attack is a bit off, by a very small bit.

But, overall, very good.

Yes, it hops while the arm is still swinging, while it should hop as the arm hits the guard. But, not likely to be too noticable in game.

Quite nice... :) It certainly fits my Middle Ages mindset better than the existing one.
This wouldn't be inspired by AoE2, would it?

Thanks Thorvald,

This unit comes courtesy of Egroen's request. He posted the drawing, which this is based upon, in one of the threads in the creation & customization forum. I'm not sure where he got the drawing but it could have been from something to do with Age of Kings.
