Onan's multisession G&K, Alternate Reality Game (8pm in Auckland, GMT +13)

Zalta is busy this weekend and has plans to be hungover most weekends after that. :p He may join us, but can't start this weekend.

I've messaged a number of people, we'll see if any are up for it. Not everyone was online so still more to contact.

Should be ok.

I cannot do Saturday, since I will be at a convention that weekend. I do not if I could participate at all because I do not always have access to a computer with G&K, but it would be helpful if you could tell me exactly when this game would be played according to Pacific Time. And, how many civilizations will we have. I would be more interested in a world with more players, considering the type of game we would be playing.

Hi Brenador, thanks for checking in.

We're looking at 6-8 players, and you're the same time zone as Islandia. Should be 11pm your time--this time of year the time zones line up well.

Hi Brenador, you can't play this Saturday or every Saturday after that? I guess you meant only this Saturday, so we can discuss the possibility of this Sunday (11th, or 10th for US) or Saturday next week (17th, or 16th for US). I'm available this Saturday or Sunday anyway.

As for G&K, I think we will definitely play G&K. Although the 6 of us confirmed also have all DLCs, but I guess DLCs are not required.

They say the MP connection is stable for 8 players, so I think we will aim to get 8 or 8+, currently 6 definitely in the game.

More difficult this saturday - I'm still on the east coast but if we are starting I can do 2 hours and be crazy like Tab. Should be fine for next saturday or sunday at the standard time and go for 3-4 hours if needed.

Hmn, maybe we should push it back to the 17th or 18th, then. There'd probably be more people ready to play with that extra lead time, too.

I meant that this Saturday is completely unavailable, but I do not know if any day work out for me now.

I'm fine starting with a six player instead of waiting, too.

If you build it, they will come. ;)

Sure, why not, I'm eager to start sooner.

I will be online this Saturday anyway, so if everyone makes it, we can have a short session (1-2hours) just to kick things off.

I could to it this Sunday..
This Saterday I won't be home till around 2 p.m. Gmt +1.

Okay, starting this weekend isn't looking good.

Saturday the 17th good for everyone? (11pm Friday 16th for anyone on PST.)

Off topic: Islandia, just wondering about those GMR turns...doesn't seem to be a timer on a couple, in case you were counting on getting skipped? :whipped:

We haven't tried this Arborea map before and it seems to give nice seperation to civs in the early game, while making early contact easier.

Continents can be visited by an early trireme.

This map script features forests, so early tropping for wonders or units!

Hey E, have you tested if this is an available map for MP? (Man, the light blue guy got screwed for land!)

I think so, I chose it in MP Internet game setup screen.

( the light blue guy can hide as many galleases as he wants in that huge lake)

Islandia mentioned he will be back to GMR in 2 weeks from that post.

Hmm that's just about the timer in games he's hosting and Superstorm Sandy. I know he's travelling now, so busy, and he doesn't mind getting skipped now and then...just wondered if he actually knew he'd been holding up those games for a few days.

 true, he could rule the world!!! Edit: cool, looks like a fun map to try.
