What sort of graphics do you need?

At the moment, what I need the most are graphics for the map.
I'm desiging a completly new way to have maps with different tiling system than Civ, and it requires first "test" graphics to check it works properly, then finalized graphics with nice textures and eye candies

Are you using hexagons?

No, but a more complex tiling system, where you can easily add new type of terrain or coast, independantly from the others.
If you want to add a new kind of rocky cliff, you just need to add the graphics for that, and don't need to update the graphics or desert, grassland, etc

How will this^ work?

Sorry to ask such an extremely vague question, but how will this project work with the Civ 3 engine? Is this essentially a large patch incorporating a lot of new processes? And won't it be prone to crashes?

btw - I really like the idea and hope it does work

SSS is an independant program, it has not much to do with Civ3, and it DOES work, but I'm still waiting for finalized graphics

Unfortunately, I was busy the two latest day, teaching monday and in a meeting yesterday.
I should be able to install Civ3 on my laptop this evening, so I can bring it to meet my friend tomorrow and start some experiment
