(3) 875BC-Discover Construction, start Code of Laws, able to drop science rate to 40% and still get it in the minimum 4 turns.
(4) 850BC-Worker starts road on bare grassland tile.

(20) 510BC-I established embassies with all 3 other civs. Their capitals are all building settlers and have no improvements in them. We are the only ones building wonders. We have a significant tech lead.

In the year 310 BC Snzzyii (pronounced Snuz-yih) took the throne. Secretly calling himself Xerxes.

Turn 1: Snzzyii renames his city to Snzzyii City and sends worker to do more. Notices red normal warrior belonging to Babylon in our territory. No RoP? Let's keep an eye on him. Warriors nicknamed 'Da Sneez Breegs' or DSB's are going north to explore the north of India.
Turn 2: Tells 'Ham' of Babylon to move his warrior out. Nothing much else.
Turn 3: Notices Greek near DSB 1.

Between: We Learn Feudalism go for Engineering next. (8 turns)
Turn 5: sends worker for more work.

My first time in one of these SG's (on-line anyway). I've loaded the game, and I'm giving it a shot.
 
50 AD Switched to Oracle from Great Lighthouse since Oracle has higher culture value.
90 AD Oracle completed/started Sistine Chapel
130 AD Traded world map to Hammurabai for map, 4 gold, and wines (sounds like a good deal to me!)
190 AD completed Astronomy/started Music Theory
230 AD our Golden Age ended.
280 AD finished Music Theory/ started banking. Heading toward Shakespeare's Theater (8 culture/turn).
340 AD. 20 turns up. Sistine Chapel finished in 17 turns.

I also headed our warrior back toward home. If someone comes after us, it won't hurt to have one more unit.

570 AD - Complete the university, 4 culture a turn, and it will hit 1000 years by 1500 AD for the doubling bonus.
Start Cathedral - this can get the doubling bonus by around 1700 AD.
570 AD - Final act, establish embassies.
Greece finishes Pyramids in 100 turns.
Babylon building a settler.
India finishes Pyramids in 84 turns.
