I have received word from Portuga that he feels that his position is also untenable (which is undoubtably true). I think that we should declare the allies the winners and draw up sides for another game.

Are there any takers for the next version? The only possible change I might make is LM terrain around Tito's HQ so that the Germans can not build a road with only one worker. Any thoughts on that?

I would be interested in playing in one such game, whatever the country, especially after Blitz died because o unbalance and Gwadaman's lack of commitment.

I would prefer to carry on - but not with others who have no heart left in the game. Tends to make things sad, not enjoyable. Personally, if i was Germany, i would carry on. I love playing games from a very defensive position. Thats why i choose China in any WWII PBEMs. But i can understand that isn't everyones style of play.

Darn, and i was just putting a force together to take you down from behind Dell. Just learned how to build Modern Armour and was upgrading them to hit you in North Africa. My forces in El Alamein would have held your tanks there, while my Modern Armour came at them from behind.

If we played it again, i would like to play with Germany - gives me a chance to see things from another perspective.

I think I would prefer to control a larger nation next time as Italy doesn't have a huge amount of influence...

I will continue to fight... After all, the Nazis were the most evil nation ever and I doubt you guys would have offered me peace so easily...especially Britain...you have me on the ropes...

I say bring it on...especially lazy Russia...I am not Napoleon or Hitler, I am BK and I am not going to Moscow any time soon...

P. S. Greater Germany is expanded and Living Space in the East can wait for the next generation...right now we have to save Germany and doing so requires a nearly 100% defensive strategy...and a good one at that!

I sunk a 2 (Br) Cruisers in the Channel and 1 (Sov) Crusier near Helisinki...

Bombardment of English infantry and the oil tile disconnected.

Took southern French city (begins with M, formally German), Brest and Barcelona. Bombed Italian units in Montpellier and Marseilles to see what they had.

Bombed Italian bomber to 1hp in Tubruk. Destroyed Italian railway from Rome to the north with a ship. Killed a Spanish rifle near Seville. Had a duel with some German battleships, including the Bismark in the Atlantic. I lost a few ships, Germany lost none.

Spanish bomber in Malaga destroyed by bored RAF pilots.

Although the French President wishes to thank his British allies for all thier wonderful help, he does not understand their previous communique. Bordeaux appears to have been liberated by English troops and is in southern France, however, I did not notice any other previously French cities currently under British management (unless you count the ones we took from Spain).

We bombed around Tripoli, as usual. No other reports.

Russian troop are marching toward north germany, Balkans and finland ready to put some pressure on the eastern front.

Lost a sub in the baltic sea and a tank attacking Galati.

Elite British infantry and riflemen destroyed by two tanks and moderate bombardment. Road in South West France destroyed. Will send the save when hotmail works or I find Oblivion's email address.

Also a British destroyer was destroyed next to Rome

Killed an infantry in Seville and the other Spanish city (rifleman there).
Bombed a road between Milan and Venice.
Killed a Panzer in Vichy.
Bombed the tank in Marseille (shot down the fighter as well)
Bomber in Tubruk destroyed on the ground.
Infantry stack near Paris bombed.

I resent my Aug, 1941 turn to LostKnight with instructions that if he already played it, he should do the same...
