Oppinion on peircings

In regards to others, I think it depends on the individual and where the piercing is. Sometimes I think someones piercings look good, sometimes I think they have over done it.

In particular I am very fussy when it comes to piercings on women, sometimes they cna be hot, other times I am not impressed at all.

I suspect the answer you're fearing is the correct one.

My views pretty much match ComradeDavos. I have no piercings, I have no desire to get any, I have no objection to them. Some look good on people, some look crap on people. The same piercing can look good on one person, crap on the next. Just personal taste.

Piercings are ok, but I wouldn't get them. Too painful.

Piercings are one of those obvious properties that you can spot that identify people who are unconventional, just like tatoos, or bizarre colored hair.

I think their pointless and useless. Also, people dont take you seriously if you've got a piece of metal going through your lip, tongue, nose or eyebrow. Ever seen a person who has a successful career or good job with a nosering? (musicians and artists dont count)

Well, I've pierced my right lobe with a safetypin (don't do this at home, kids!) a number of times, but haven't kep them in more than a day, mainly 'cos I cannae find any stainless steel pins that wouldn't rust.

Generally speaking, I see jabbing oneself repeatedly with a safetypin to be a sign of mental illness.
