endless turn did not reöccur when loading a previous auto-save...

noticed another thing, automated workers do not run (or at least not correctly) from animals inside my own borders, but that should be fixed in patch e right?
 
The process you propose is doable, but I am not sure if usefull. And I do not like not usefull features.
Culture requires drama, writing gives science, mathemetics is for gold and poisons for espionage. All quite early techs so the processes are easily accessible. Also, I prefer to specialize cities and give player means to do it.

It's only useful very early game, when you don't want to build too many units or cities because your economy is underdeveloped and you can't afford the maintenance, and you've built that monument / palisade already. A small island start or a valley start where you don't want to rush your opponent to get out til you've grabbed a few military techs. Currently the only option is to build and delete warriors.

The Grand Menagerie scenario is a good example where this process might be handy. You very limitted in your builds in that scenario and there's only so many Hunters you want to field, so you end up build-deleting Hunters.

I still have to track down the reason for endless turns.
Not sure about workers, but animals should no longer enter borders.

Scanarios are not a good expample, especially such simple ones as grand menagerie. You do not loose anything, as you can't really do anything save from hunting the animals.
I never have the problem you described in the early game - quite the contrary, I have too many things to build. But a mixed commerce might ba a good idea...
any idea on when .24 wil be ready? i really dislike those beasties wandering all around my empire.
Well, I could post it in a day or two as it is working and I just need to add some missing art. But I really dislike releasing version with the bugs I know of and which are guaranteed to happen. And all trait changes are broken in FfH 41b and in Orbis 0.24

So, I will try to find help, but if you still want me to release new version, even if bugged, then please let me know.
 
I'd much rather you waited. Those hangs between turns happen in too many of my games. It's infuriating, since often it doesn't happen until several hundred turns into a game, completely ruining it.

I can't guarantee to fix it. Both Opera and I are trying to, but no luck yet. The bast I know, it is probably related to Awakened spawning.

My main concern is the minor trait mechanics now. Easy to spot and breaks a lot. WoC can sometimes by dodged by reloading an earlier save.

So, 2 questions come to mind. First, if it is from awakened spawning, can it be bypassed by disabling the scions(like in a custom game)? Second, does the bug still occur if you are playing as the scions?
 
can u put some new magic item :mischief: and maybe something like a city in the middle of the ocean plenty of monster i mean a boss monster!! when if u defeat it u can gain a good rewards!!! a legend hero or soemthing like that , its just an idea :mischief:
 
there is an Evil Maztakl Leader who is read as 'TXT_KEY_something' everwhere, just in case it wasn't reported before.
 
That changelog is looking pretty impressive :)

Try not to rush yourself Ahwaric, I'm sure there's a lot involved with this big of an update. I'm also glad you've got a few people helping out and really appreciate their effort.
 
@Rishardas: Don't worry, if it is minor bug, then a quickfix would let you continue with your game. Or you can do what I did and try again a day later. That actually worked. (ANd it happened immediately after Iposted that I had a problem too -_-)

I took a look at LagDemon's endless-turn save in post #474, and the reason seems to be that Margalard is UNITAI_ATTACK and is an animal. His AI endlessly attempts to move onto a tile with an improvement, can't because CvUnit::canMoveInto returns false for animals moving to an improved tile but aren't attacking this turn, so he is removed from his selection group, but in response AI_barbAttackMove again tries to move to the same tile to pillage.

Sadly, was a frequent crash (always at Belseraph yell)... but now I'm stuck in that EoT. :(

hi guys im playing as cabalim n i got a galleass , but i dont know why i cant cross the ocean out my border line!! =/

I think the reason it was asked is that in "Vanilla cIV" (an expansion to FfH2) it can sail oceans IF they are within your borders.
