There is a way to bypass the No Worker XP in a custom game. All you need to do is give workers an attack str and they are able to get promotions (I did this with bless).

Also, has the graphics bug when switching your civ to Hyborem been fixed yet?

~i'm able to cast bloom on mines and my non-elf workers can build mines on forested tiles without chopping. i have adopted FoL, maybe this is a feature?
That is actually a feature I added a few patches ago - if the improvement can be build without removing a feature, you can spread this feature there via spell. Also, the feature will spread to this tile on it's own (as if the tile was unimproved).
In this case, mine can be build in forest in Orbis, so you can cast bloom there. FoL has nothing to do with it, as it does not change if the forest gets removed by building an improvement.
~casting "peace" with seven pines did not halve the armageddon count, it did lower it from around 26 to 22 however.
I am not sure how does the calculation work. It might halve just your contribution to AC. Will have to check it.

From No Worker XP game option description:
"Disables automatic XP gain on Worker Units. Worker promotions can still be acquired if XP is gained by other means (like Spirit Guide or a Training Building)"
The way you described is just one of many 'other means'.

No, and unfortunatelly I do not have any idea how to... :(
Just reload game if it happens.

oh i knew i was forgetting something in my previous post, but workers and some other random units (an ecclesiast and kythera kyriel that i see in my current game) are eligible for the alchemist promotion :crazyeye:

What the Hell? I am unable to research ashen veil even though I have both techs required. Is there something I'm not aware of or is this a legitimate bug?

Quick update: My free time has dropped alot this week but I'm at turn 550 so far with no crashes with scion and mechs so far.

When I play as the Elohim, on the city build menu, the warrior graphic shows up as a pink box. When I click on the warrior to try to build one the game crashes. It's only for warriors though, so if I try to build a scout or anything else it works fine. So far I haven't had this problem with any other civilization.

Also, this may have been mentioned before as I vaguely remember reading it, but the Illian White Hand temple doesn't cause the tiles around the city to turn to ice.

All in all the mod is awesome and I prefer it to any other FFH2 mod I've tried.

I have a very weird glitch on the button menu of my land units (e.g instead delete unit is the cancel auto button but it still deletes them, all my land units have unload all????? and the worst I can't explore anything dungeons, animal dens troll huts nothing).also I can't load any game which I played with the mechanos and If I try to the game crashes.

"Pink warrior" means you installed patch over wrong version of Orbis. At least, it was so in my case :)

It does, if you hover the mouse over the tiles, it shows "Climate unnaturally cold!" and they slowly convert over time. There's a climate thing in Orbis which is not in vanilla FFH2 and it was just added in RiFE. I like this feature. It's like a reverted "end of winter" option in your illian lands.

The version in Orbis is Jean's old system, and is stepwise... Basically, goes in order. Desert->Plains->Grass->Marsh->Tundra->Ice. Can only move in one direction or the other, will end up at one extreme or the other. Which is fine for the Illians. ;)

The new system in FlavourMod2 and RifE is 2-dimensional, based on Temperature and Humidity. Any climate type can be specified, so it works for Mazatl as well. ;)

poor hyborem has enough problems staying afloat without having to start with city placement like in the screencap below. maybe it's not a bug, but in my last game he lasted about 2 turns before being wiped out, and he'll be lucky to do much better this time around, and i think these starting locations have something to do with it

the only time i've seen hyborem be remotely threatening is when he's spawned on a large unpopulated island. if he had an army of flying units (perhaps even flying units that can summon other flying units, taking advantage of his summoner trait), he could be a serious power.
something to think about...

Now that is weird.. Can you share a save where a unit has alchemist avaliable... I can't reproduce it and can't find anything wrong with the code.

Good!
Finally no CtD raports :)

You did not update FfH to last p[atch before installing Orbis. or did not reinstall for a long time. Please do so and it should be fine
Sorry for the trouble, version 0.30 will be standalone (installer is actaully quite ready, bughunting still needed though).

Valkrionn is right - and I prefer this system.
Next Orbis version will be updated to new flavourmod version, so I will add more expanded system as well. I waited for Jean to finish it for a long time.

He might need some buffing for AI.
The city on the screen was probably Luirchuip city before demons overrun it - that is how it works in Orbis, Hyborem always spawn in city. If he ends on remote island, he just sits there and can't do any conquests. Even worse for the player - summon hyborem and end on the other side of the world, ages away form ocean travel techs...
It has side effects I need to balance though.
Just tried a few more games. Ashen Veil is researchable now. Odd.
I guess you did not run one game in play now mode to clear options. Some saved ones interfere with Orbis ones. Always start first game in play now mode after changing mod - that applies to other mods as well (not all but those that allow saving options - and I want to allow it).

I also had this issue. Save included, but it's just a new game with elves to get free xp :) Other civ's workers also can get this promo.

Thanks for the saves guys, I will check them out! :)
They are with Orbis, but aren't necessarily bug-free.
True. I have played & finished most scenarios under Orbis, but with all the changes to the mod, it is possible that new bugs appear. But in general, I really try to make scenarios compatibile.
Took a lot of time, but I think it is worth it.
