Orcs and Humans

OOC: Thanks. :) I mean low-level undead though, like these:
Necrolyte: Necrolytes are orcish spellcasters that focus upon the use of the dead to bolster the armies of the Horde. When in combat, necrolytes have a chance of raising a deceased enemy to assist in the ongoing battle as an undead minion. Necrolytes cost 25 Gold and 50 Mana to create. They do not provide any Mana to the bank of the nation.
I'm guessing we didn't get any because the people we killed were probably entirely or nearly entirely all inside the fort.

Well as pointed out in the race post, yes, the Horde does use necromancy with the Necrolyte unit. They raise temporary skeletons to bolster their numbers, both from their own dead and the ranks of the enemy. These are not permanent additions to an army, however, and will only serve in the battle they are raised.

@Gen Mannerheim, Lore has changed a bit since Warcraft 1. In warcraft 1, one of the key orc strategies revolved around the necrolyte, and I won many a battle with the dead of my enemies. According to the original Lore, and plot, the necrolyte order was wiped out in order to use their power to create the Death Knights of Warcraft 2. For now though, they serve the Horde with their dark magics.

OOC: The Necrolytes won't likely increase the size of our armies as per the description "chance of raising a deceased enemy to assist in the ongoing battle as an undead minion". As such they quite likely only assist during battle. If such a zombie/undead unit were to be added to the stats it would likely appear in the Orc Unit descriptions.

Regarding the Twilight Hammer Clans Mana, this was potentially used in supporting spells not mentioned in the update(and potentially why casualties were skewed in our favour). Although if that wasn't the case a refund would be nice. :)

OOC:I had completely spaced on necrolytes, good call. I guess I was thinking more permanent undead.

OOC: Ah ok, thanks guys. :)

Casualties were actually about even (in cost), but yeah, that's still really good against a fort, plus we gained experience.

Oh it took me a while, but I realized that yesterday was Tuesday, not Wednesday. Therefore this is the actual 24 hour warning to get orders in.

We did not start this fight, the Skullsplitter did. Talk to them.

I Ana'thek the Big challenge you! We make peace but first decide who Chief - me! If you not run away you hear that me want merge clans and teach you fight not hide but fight 'umans not troll brudders. Sen'jin I know you weak but you clever - you be my Chief Shaman and 2nd in Command over all Skullsplitter and Darkspear land. Together we kill greedy 'umans good.

If yes all good and we brudders forever, if no come fight.

From: Darkspear Sen'jin

We have no desire to work with those who attack us without any provacation, do you think we're fools? The elements favor us and you are more than welcome to try to drive us from our lands and people.

You speak what know not... If you not run away you hear us, understand is good we be brudders. Me not want kill troll brudders but unite brudders kill 'umans.

How about challenging their chief to single combat on neutral territory (I'd suggest Gurubashi if they're ok with it)? Winner would get both clans.

I try!!! He run away like fish. Me no boat. Send me boat Orc friend.

We don't have any boats either unfortunately. It seems the only naval powers among the orcs and the trolls of the south is Darkspear (5 destroyers), and Gurubashi (20 destroyers).
If Gurubashi is unwilling to loan you their destroyers, we'd suggest giving the apparently unproductive land back to Darkspear in return for their participation in the war against the humans.

OOC: I doubt if Darkspear have 10 destroyers, they started with 3, now they have 5 and considering the costs of a destroyer, let alone another 5, and their income:

Gold: 0 (+80)
Lumber: 20 (+40)
Mana: 0 (105)

then minus the land they ran from...

to be able to produce 2 new destroyers alone at a cost of "200 Gold, 250 Lumber" each is impossible (plus their army numbers have increased). The maths don't up or I am missing something. I assume therefore that they have help. Unless I can get a rational explanation of how this was possible I assume they are in league with the humans. Either that or the numbers must be wrong.

@SoFarSoGood: I assure you the Darkspear started with 5 destroyers. Also, the territory you took is worthless, so that didn't hurt them at all.

On an unrelated note, I'm beginning the update process now.
