Here it is

Don't like the guy, but it takes guts to say it straight, "I might have been wrong".

There may be a political angle, but......hey what they hell, discuss people, discuss

someone else already has a thread like this... Everyone is wrong!

We already have had a thread on this, but i'll say again that the guy deserves respect for it.

Oh c'mon. He only apologised on GMA when he was shown the tape of his initial promise. If not for that he would have done what he'd done for the last 6 months and tried to weasel his way out of it. And of course he is still yet to live up to the second half of his promise "and I will not trust the Bush administration again."
Even in his apology he tried to shift the blame to Tenet and Clinton.

He still apologized. Thats far ahead of many in his profession, liberal or conservative.

Agree with Speedo. You think anyone else on Fox News or MSNBC or WABC Radio, etcetera, would really have done that? At least not at this time.

So yeah, O'Reilly sometimes comes across like another loudmouth, but I give him props for this one.

Agree with you in this speedo. He may not have done it out of pure selfless abandom, but he still did it, and it's a credit to him. Most people have severe issues in admiting to be proven wrong so completely, and to a public man, that is probably far worse.

Regards :).

A newscaster, with an ego the size of Australia apologizing on TV!!!!!!! Unbelievable;)

Truly makes you think wether or not Bush & Co are getting cold feet

Rove is probably getting nervous, which means he's going to be even even more sneaky, sleazy and tacky than usual. This could make Bush more vulnerable, because Roves instinct is to go negative when challenged, and I dont think the electorate is in the mood for it this time around. If Kerry is smart, he'll take the high road personally, but let his people slug it out in the mud with Rove and his henchmen.

Allhail, I know lots of conservative people who practically worship OReilly. Ive asked a few what they think of what OReilly said and I get vague noncommital statements. Its like they have a software conflict and go into safe mode when you click on OReilly
